His ex wife first started trying to expose him and interview with others speaking on his addiction when she accepted it at the beginning of relationship. One thing for sure when a addict is upfront with you they seeking help and they was young if she told him from start they his addiction would destroy his career and she help him before he became famous he had a better chance to beat that demon but she want along with it until he had babies by others. She was his enabler and being a enabler that addict will run from you when you try to stop them and blame you for being apart of his addiction. She now trying to play wifey and the victim.. Im sure she was getting high with him but her will never expose her business as she did him. I don't give a dam everyone knows using our selling lead to jail or dead simple. She was following him and didn't make any plans for her future nor goals... Anything a woman have needs to expose her marriage because they bitter and know they was apart of the relationship to fail. The money her husband had she could of did some things in the background far as opening a recovery center and bet for sure Dmx would of enjoyed being apart of that. Real women do real things....We must recognize the cause n effect of the situation. Rest up Dmx🙏

Most rappers talk about the pain of not having a father in their lives but most of them at least had loving mother's. Not only did X not have his father in his life but he also had an abusive mother who didn't really show him love. The guy had it rough for real. It's actually amazing what he managed to accomplish in life.

We always do, being a Sagittarius ♐️ man That’s exactly how we are - we blame no one, we just hide the hurt deep inside of us, and we still love 💗 you for just birthing us into this world 🌍 eventually you just become numb and immune to it and finally just accepting it, after that, you find an outlet to express your hurt, anger, mostly pain .. Then you do whatever you can to cope but you treat others better than what you were treated, eventually you realize the beauty in everything even in all the pain

Yes, well said! He loved his mother and forgave her (she was young and going through things). I see too many "fans" disrespecting his mother for her mistakes. Everyone here on Earth is human and we all learn through making mistakes. If he forgave his mother - respect DMX by forgiving his mother too. We can get right to the issue by looking at the roots. A lot of childhood trauma is rooted in, and is the result of, slavery and white supremacy... especially regarding black men and women from the hood (+DMX).

I've seen many that never got the chance to make amends before they went. Let me tell you, i've NEVER seen so many people, across all kinds of life, rich, poor, Manhattan liberal churches, gay community (yes, even with those lyrics way back, but was stating HIS preference, there were a few nuts ranting when he died though), all across social media, kids that grew up with him and young kids that never saw the inside of a church, not even for Xmas or Easter were praying for him. I'm talking Pope John Paul II sick level prayers. I told people, he and Pac were like two witnesses, not only for the ghetto and so called hard OGs (cause you gonna get that if you go to see him, Jesus will be served), Pac was the same way... he tried to hide it when he went out West, playing the role outside, but at any gathering, he, like DMX was holding forth and preaching. I think Death Row really showed him how he had to hold on to God tighter.
