With the missiles on the back of the trailer in alt mode, the only thing missing in this kit is a little 'NO TAILGATING' sign... 😁

The trailer sides hooked onto Prime reminds me of the battle mode for Dark of the Moon cyberverse Prime. The addition in battle station mode looks awesome! It's not good to just let your sword flop out. I really like the toyhax stickers that can be applied to it.

The handle looks like it plugs into the effects peg on the trailer bit. I could just be seeing a weird angle, though.

Had mine just before Christmas and it's great set simply because it gives the trailer a purpose. Mine is in full load out bot mode at the moment. The two red missile pods i stuck in his shoulder stacks.

How? It just fills in gaps on the backs of the legs that you wouldn’t see anyway, and gives him articulated hands. And it stores his regular weapons in robot mode I guess. The rest of the “upgrade” kit is just a ton of extra partsforming to make a mid weapon, and a lot of extra stuff to store in alt mode. It’s more of a hassle than its worth imo

Slightly disappointed that they went to the effort of making a neat looking Battle Tanker reference, but didn't give him the leg upgrades Battle Tanker usually got. It's the one thing they missed out on (actually, Battle Tanker got a lot of stuff that is just not here, and overall was better quality).

I think the battle tanker part of it is a little much at least for Optimus Prime but it's a good thing that fixes the battle station mode. I think the whole combing with the tanker is more of scourge and/or toxictron kinda feel/deal imo and im so getting the upgrade kit for scourge

I was considering buying this kit but I’m not overly thrilled with the need to basically rip the trailer apart in ways it really wasn’t designed to in order to turn it into armaments for Prime. I may still consider getting it just to upgrade the trailer’s battle station mode.

Agree id worry about those friction hinges wearing down over time and eventually not holding anymore. Ive seen 3D printed kits done better that dont have you ripping the trailer apart so this would be a pass for me

I passed on G2 Prime and Nemesis as G2 ain’t my thing, but I did grab the Toxitron mold variant a couple days ago. Watching this made me run down a link for the DK-37T kit! I can’t wait to get my mits on it, the ToyHax label sets and a couple other upgrade pieces I found on eBay!

Im actually not that thrilled with this upgrade, Dna Tried to be clever and do cool stuff but ive seen 3D printed kits that were done better and didn't involve ripping the trailer apart which i feel would start to wear out over time so yea just not really a great solution imo. Great review as always tho thanks for showing it off.

That is the worse upgrade kit ever smh!!! I literally threw it away. A complete waste of money. It doesn't never ever, ever never want to stay on. If you get it to stay on you better not touch your figure.
