@@demo0831 The point is though is that he's letting it get to his head which could lead to some poor decisions in the future that could harm him or people he cares about. Task on the other hand doesn't let his kills get to his head. Theirs a big difference between killing a powerful enemy by yourself and killing a powerful enemy with the help of a few other people. The former lets you gloat about it all you want and have the power to back it up. The latter has you lose some bragging rights and shows your not as strong as you say you are.

So, Ranfault is a magical Greatsword that can cause an attack to have disadvantage against the wielder once per day, can banish fiends on a 19/20 of the d20 if they fail a save, and anytime he hits a Stillhavity spawn they have to make a save no matter the roll. Holy fucking shit.

Not just fiends, any creature that was not originally from the material plane. This includes beholders, certain types of fey, and other plane jumping creatures. Now that I think of it, I wonder if it could potentially banish fleurdemort? Unless I'm remembering wrong and he started out in the material plane and not the Feywild.

Still an interesting thought though, however I beliee to truly vanquish him would require an army of constructs using Blight to wittle away at the plant life until his true body was all that remained.

Predictions for what they'll need to do to recruit the other two orc tribes: For the more friendly orcs I believe they'll be dealing with some dragon cultists since a town near the tribe was taken over by some of them and they're probably encroaching on the tribes land. This is more of a hope then an actuality. For the Blood axes we could get a tournament style fight where borky and the gang have to do one on one fights till one of them, most likely borky, fights the leader/champion. While everyone else besides Borky isn't really built for one on one combat, I could still see maybe a victory here or there. It is dnd so anything is possible.

I love all the unexpectables, warts and all. Borky is a bit of a goof and an idiot, Greckles is an edgy ninja evangelist, Task is a hotheaded Napoleon complex, and Panic... learned nothing. Borky is a lovely and friendly guy. Greckles is genuinely creative with his tools and magic. Task is a badass soldier who can most of the time back his boasts. Panic is attractive in personality and is very relatable with his backstory. Of course I’m not going to talk about the guest characters until a later episode.

If they were really falling for 15 minutes, they would have been greater than 30 miles or 158,400 feet at terminal velocity which would have been reached within the first 12 seconds, and they would be little more than diluted stains on the water's surface.

That's assuming gravity is the same as on Earth though right? We don't know the rate of gravity on this planet. In D&D I think the fall speed is 10 feet per second with no acceleration (60 feet per round with 6 second rounds) so that's more like...9,000 feet or 1.7 miles. This should equal something like 150d6 of falling damage, but it caps out at 20d6. So they should take about 70~ points of falling damage. I don't know their HP totals but I know they were nerfed so that would probably knock out everyone other than Borky (and maybe him as well). Since they landed in a liquid I think it mitigates that damage, though I don't know the rule for it offhand. If we assume it's half damage for landing in water, that's only 35 damage on average for each, which should be survivable at their level.

There is, however, an optional rule that says you just fall 500 feet per round at great heights. This comes to 75000 feet, so 7500d6, which averages out to 262500 points of damage. Also wow, I did not know about 5e capping falling damage. That just seems absurd.

I’d have to agree with Zito on how sucky tracadia is. There you have overwhelming and constant expense of curses and diseases from werewolves and vampires. Both are which very hard to deal with in one capacity over the other. Werewolf: strong, sturdy if no silver, fast, hunts in packs, and them just scratching can turn you into one. Vampires: fast, mind control, illusions, deceptive, regeneration, almost unkillable, and that not mentioning what special lords have had made over the last 5 centuries they’ve been around. To just arrive in a nation where both are not just in huge abundance, but actually working together. And the human settlements are filled with racists, gang members, stingy rules that harm even the victims/bystanders , and rich a holes. Yaaaaaay, count me out or let me stock up on a shit ton of remove curse items and anti wolf/vampire weapons.

The only one who could've buffed him was Panic and even then he only had three to four spells he could've cast before the fight that could be considered a buff. The rest would've been putting him at risk from detection since their duration were so short that he'd have to cast them mid fight for it to be beneficial. Even then the few spells he could've done pre fight wouldn't really add much.

I haven't played a 5e rogue in a few months but if I remember correctly, Trap Sense gives either an auto erception check whenever the rogue comes within 30 feet of a trap, or it reduces damage taken by half?

Trap sense is pathfinder, it doesn’t exist in fifth edition. In actuality, Gaijin is correct; rogues don’t have anything to detecting traps aside from expertise in perception. This includes thieves, who have a proficiency in DISARMING traps, not spotting them. The only archetype which DOES have some sort of ability to better spot traps is the inquisitive, which didn’t even exist when you posted this. Honestly, task or panic would be better suited to detecting traps than greckles. And since they aren’t using passives, all the traps they’re stumbling into are kind of screwing them over with very little they can do about it.

1d6 for every 10 feet beyond the first 10 fallen. Having a character dropped 30 feet that weighs 280 lbs in full plate armor hurts, but it isn't as lethal as real life. 500 feet per round for velocity up to a max of 20d6, a good enough character can survive a fall of 110 feet without dying. And depending on DM not suffer anything but being entirely sore.

To put into perspective a wizards hit die is d6 per level plus con. If a wizard has a con of 1, the average hp of a wizard to survive this fall is lvl 18-19. The damage average is 80. Almost every other class that is squishy is 1d8 per level. Average of that is 5 and give the same con score is 6. They can survive beyond 14th level. Fighters and Paladins have a d10 their average is 6 and tend to have higher cons. Lets say it is +2 so 8 health average per level. They can average survive by 10th level. And finally barbarian a d12 often with the highest con so lets say +4 with average at 7 they can survive this by by 8th level without rage and arguably 4th level with rage timed before impact. Every classof d8 or lower hit die but rogue has a way of avoiding all damage of this fall at erd level. Falling is only lethal to rogues and the martial main classes but monk
