Michael giving actual good supportive advice here was one of the first times where I really appreciated his character as more than just a completely idiotic boss. This show was always so good because it wasn't just a lot of amazing laughs, but it had a lot of great heart too.

@@StevenEatsAlone Yes. Nothing is black and white, and Pam's engagement is pretty damn 128/255 gray. Anyway, "Never, ever, EVER give up" is definitely advice delivered by an idiot, but an inspirational idiot with Steve Carrell quality delivery haha.

This is easily one of my favorite episodes of the series. There are so many moving parts. The entire episode, Micheal is desperate to inspire someone. He tried to be the leader the entire episode and tried to take credit for Roy setting a wedding date, but he failed at every turn. Until he had that heart to heart with Jim and gave him the best advice. He inspired someone when it mattered. He was there as a leader when Jim needed him. Also, that super long pause where Jim and Pam stare at each other, I think, is the longest moment of silence in the entire series. No dialogue. The whole scene is basically driven by their facial expressions. Incredible moment. Also, fun fact, an extra actually did jump of the boat. They filmed that on an actual boat, and nobody was instructed to jump off, but an extra actually did. So that whole talking head of Michael mentioning the guy who jumped off the boat was kind of improvised because that had never planned that. Very cool stuff. I freaking love that episode.

Hahaha, I never heard that trivia the the extra, fantastic. Pam awkward stare with Jim is cute, but her silent sarcastic cheerleader wiggle is the cutest she's ever been :P

First time I got this early! Already gave a like because I know I will enjoy it, I love your reactions to the OFFICE. So funny episode but that last scene on the Cruise with Jim and Michael when he tells him about Pam… I remember the first time I saw it and thought Michael was gonna make a dumb comment or a joke but he actually supports Jim in a serious way and tell him to never give up on her, wholesome scene.

Tony Robbins is a great motivational speaker who has mega sellout stadium events that get people pumped up to go out there and reach their goals. Look him up, he's still in action.

I love "The Office". Probably my favorite comedy series of its time. Not sure about "The Orifice", though. I think I'll steer clear of that one.

You guys need to do a reaction on Secret Base's video series on Dave Stieb. He was probably one of the most underrated pitchers in MLB history and a member of the Toronto Blue Jays who were the other expansion team with Seattle. It's an amazing series just like the M's one but focused on a single player instead of a team.
