How is the frequency of EMF defined? Is it the frequency of the current within a closed loop conductor in a rotor or is it related to anything in the rotational direction? How is then the induced magnetic field by the EMF defined?

Sir first I thank to you for your great contribution in electrical engineering. Here I have a doubt in an topic of this.please ans me. If rotor electrical frequency (fr) = (Nsync - Nm)*p/120 and rotor mechanical frequency (fm) = Nm*p/120 then Why we use rotor electrical frequency instead of rotor mechanical frequency?
@ElectricalisEasy5 жыл бұрын
Rotor mechanical frequency? We use electrical frequency bcz that what influences the synchronous speed of field...and please put a time stamp for the doubts..otherwise it is very difficult for me to watch the entire video...
@ElectricalisEasy5 жыл бұрын
And rotor electrical frequency is electrical supply of the rotor windings, that is what we are interested in...
@adibmd.ridwan5 жыл бұрын
In the last part of video , you solve a math. There we use w(m)=2*pi*N(m)/60=179.07 rad/s. but you do not use w(re) w(re) = 2*pi*f(re)=18.84 rad/s so they are not equal....... >>then I want to know what is the difference between w(m) & w(re) ? >>Is there present any term rotor mechanical frequency(which is related with w(re)) ?

Here when you talk about the standstill condition so the frequency of rotor = electrical frequency . So does that mean the rotor will have the mechanical speed of stator? If that is so, then the rotor should not rotate. Time = 13:20
@ElectricalisEasy4 жыл бұрын
Standstill means the rotor speed is zero, it could be at the moment of starting or In a Blocked rotor condition
@rishikalalwani16754 жыл бұрын
@@ElectricalisEasy Then if the speed of rotor=0, how is the frequency of stator =frequency of rotor. Which frequency are you talking about.Mechanical or electrical? I'm a bit confused! And thanks for replying!

you show here that,the rotor speed is clockwise,but in the AC Machinary fundamentals lectures you show that rotor speed direction as per as stator magnetic field speed direction and that is counterclockwise
