Our modern Prophets and Apostles are humble men who don't boast of the miracles that happen in their lives. I wish all Latter-day Saints would follow their example.

President Ballard shared this experience with a small group of Stake leaders in a training I was part of a decade or so ago. The feeling in that room was unforgettable. Love that man.

I think one of the reasons we may not hear that much about miracles, is because miracles are not the main indication something is of God. Paul also adresses that in 1 Coritnt. 13, where he points out that even if we have all faith, all works, all miracles etc. but not charity, all these things are of no value before God.. And so it seems that how we truly know Apostles are of God is when their example and their teachings bring forth the good fruits by which fruits we are to discern.

One can fake a testimony of Jesus Christ, but the Holy Ghost won’t verify that false testimony.

Yeah definitly, feelings cant be manipulated... just look up all the other lunatics (its like a Mormon testimony meeting on steriods) who literally KILLED THEMSELFS to follow the "holy ghost" you are being manipulated and deceived my dude

You don't have miracles yourself in your life? I know I do. Apostles works are what they do as their calling not miscellaneous miracles. Miracles happen around us not just around and by apostles. We just need to recognize them.
