I am a Christian. Born Again 24 years. My 15 year old son is Autistic. He has absolutely no concept of death or God or sin. He has the mind of a 5 year old. I NEVER hear this addressed. And Christian Churches today offer Zero to families of Autistic children, in fact the Autistic children are often left out of Church because pastors are more concerned their sermon might be interrupted yet there’s no place at the churches for our kids to stay so they can have some sort of Christian Church family love experience. It really is a sore spot in the Christian Church today and I am unable to attend a church for this very reason. I’ve even heard pastors online say “If an autistic child / adult cannot understand God maybe they can in some other way we cannot see ?? ... But if not yes they go to Hell”. I’ve actually heard this from “Christian’s”. Something needs to be done for the Christian churches to stop alienating autistic people. It’s disgusting!

I am a high-functioning Asperger so I can only imagine what your lives must be like. Let me encourage you with this. The common picture of hell as a place of eternal torture is a corruption and a twisting of what the Bible really says. When people die, they don't go to heaven or hell. They don't go anywhere. They are just dead, that's all. Christians get the victory over death at the resurrection. Until then, they are just dead. _So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory._ (1 Corinthians 15:51-54, KJV)

You are correct that all children should have availability to God. Oh but wait your child does. His availability to God should be you sir. Continue to bond with your child and understand all of his needs. Doing this and providing for him and holding down a job is not F/T but O/T. And you should be commended for taking on the responsibility of your beautiful and miracalous autistic son. I am sure he has taught you things as well Sir. Also, It is ok to be upset with God. But please pray more and ask God to release the anger from within your heart. Ask him for understanding and courage. Lay it on the line with your questions. But most of all thank the Lord for trusting in you the large responsibilty that he has tasked you with. Remember: There is a reason for every person that enters our lives. Stay beautiful my brother. You are loved and never ever stop praying. Place it in God's hands and allow him take the steering wheel.Is God perhaps telling you that he wishes to open doors for autistic children through you and your son? Ask him. There is no immediate life after death. Where did Lazarus go to when he died? Jesus said that he was simply sleeping in John 11:11-14. Death is like sleep (Dreamless). At the second coming of Christ the dead will arise first. If we go straight to heaven when we die, why would the dead arise at His 2nd coming? Read this for more: www.remnantofgod.org/Immortal.htm Ecclesiastes 9:5,6 "For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten. Also their love, and their hatred, and their envy, is now perished; neither have they any more a portion for ever in any thing that is done under the sun."

@ Paul H What is death? Is it a separation or is it the end of existence? Going by what the bible says I consider death to be separation. Our soul separates from our body upon our body's physical death and if that soul isn't saved then that soul gets separated from God for all eternity. Why do you think being sent to hell is referred to as the second death? It's because you're being separated from God for all eternity.

@danielblair44135 жыл бұрын
@@winifredthompson2488 According to the bible we are actually born dead in spirit hence the reason that we need to be born again in the spirit as Jesus stated and we get that through believing (trusting) the gospel (1 Corinthians 15:1-4). So, as a human being when we are born we have a live body, a living soul, and a dead spirit. When we get saved the bible says that we should consider the body to be dead, so a saved person has a dead body, a living soul, and a living spirit. Upon getting saved the living spirit allows the living soul access into heaven...that's how I look at it at least.

Our first child died at the day it was born. Filled with grief I was struggling asking God where my child was. I did not just presume I wanted an answer from my Lord God. As potter sitting on my potters wheel I prayed all day. I got an answer from Numbers 23: 19 at first I thought that does not make sense because it was Billiam who said it. But God opened my understanding and I saw that God is a God of the Covenant The God of Abraham Isaac and Jacob and the God of Joseph and Ephraim. It was not what I had done it was not what my child had done, it was for me and for her what Christ had done. God’s promises are sure and are covenant promises. I prayed and asked the Lord to make the day I lost my first child not a sad day but a day of rejoicing. One year later on the same date our now oldest son was born and we have a birthday to celebrate and rejoyce on that date our first child died Numbers 23:19 “God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good? 20 Behold, I have received a command to bless; He has blessed, and I cannot reverse it. On the other hand This is also the Word of the Lord. Deuteronomy 5: 9 For I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me, 10 but showing mercy to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments. 1 Kings 14: 13 Everyone in Israel will mourn at his funeral. But he will be the last one from Jeroboam’s family to receive a proper burial, because he’s the only one THE LORD GOD OF ISRAEL IS PLEASED WITH. We see that the child of the ungodly king was still saved and be in Heaven. What is our lesson? The children dying of Godly parents dying before the age of understanding ARE WITH THE LORD IN HEAVEN Parents who lost a child but never feared the Lord will not think about it or presume. We have to leave it for the Lord. But for us who love the Lord and are not sure of their salvation I tell you, you can have that assurance it is what the Lord wants us to have. David suggested that the baby went to heaven, saying he would go to the baby. No one ever told you that the BABY went to heaven. smh. Jesus said to 'suffer the little children, and forbid them not, for SUCH IN THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN." its pretty darn clear that babies and toddlers are innocent of sin. They don't even know right from wrong yet. But since the spirit is immortal, it makes sense that all the babies and children who die in natural disasters, or sacrificed in religious cults, or the millions upon millions that America has aborted … go to Heaven. BILLIONS of souls of children. "For SUCH is the Kingdom of Heaven" Meaning, "heaven is full of the SOULS of innocent children." This is why God's Word shows no toleration for people who corrupt CHILDREN, such as peole who teach their children to cuss, or expose them to wicked things, or put guns in their hands like the Arabs do. Jesus taught that it would be better to commit SUICIDE (a one way ticket to hell) then to offend any of the little ones with falsehood and corruption. I agree. If a fool is going to be a fool and go to hell, LET HIM go to Hell! But to drag along children and others, he deserves the WORST of what hell offers! I'ts just like people who commit suicide. What you started speaking at 4:15 shows a clear example on why certain disturbing things such as the killing of the Midianite children occurred in NUMBERS 31. Very possible God already knew that they would destroy themselves and gave them heaven instead. An act of mercy to the extreme extent that only God could carry out. It is however like you said, never spoken entirely that it was God that sanctioned it but just Moses, maybe once again proving your point on God not wanting to tell us this so we won't do it ourselves. Knowing the crazy people who might deem it ok to do so afterwards, corrupting themselves. Killing is a sin afterall, even the Israelites after killing in the name of the LORD were declared unclean afterwards. Touchy subject, but one to really look into, and one that can only really be understood if you try to understand the LORD.

The main judgements found in the Bible are 1. The Flood 2. Sodom and Gomorrah 3. The Exodus from Egypt 4. The Conquest of Canaan 5. The Punishment of King David 6. The judgement upon Jerusalem We can look at these judgements to see if God acted fairly, sparing the innocent and judging the wicked. This would be the essence of justice - that the innocent are not punished but the wicked are. When God judged the pre-flood world, he sent the Flood to drown them, but He did not spare the innocent children from drowning. When God judged Sodom and Gomorrah, he sent down fire to burn them up, but He did not spare the innocent children from the flames. When God judged Egypt, he sent an angel of death to kill the firstborn, but he did not spare the innocent children amongst the firstborn. When God judged the Canaanites, He sent the sword to chop them up, but He did not spare the innocent children from the sword. When God judged David, He did not spare David's innocent child. The consistent result is that God punishes the innocent along with the wicked. I believe that it is wrong to punish or kill the innocent for the deeds of the wicked. So logic dictates that God is wrong to do so. So, by the principle that only the wicked should be punished, God appears to have acted unjustly during every judgement He has made.

@@EricSmyth4Christ Calvinists do not believe in free will. Calvinists believe that we can't believe on our own. It's God who gives us belief, therefore, it's God believing in Himself through a vessel that He has created with total inability to choose Him on their own. That is literally the T in the calvinist doctrine of TULIP. Which totally erases the definition of the word "believe" which is to accept something as true. Not to force or to cause. Then we have to look at the definition of "accept", which is to consent. And to "consent" means permission for something to happen or agreement to do something. We can go on forever with this but the result will be that to believe means to have a choice no matter how far we take it. The calvinists definition of "dead" is compared to literal death meaning we can do nothing to respond. But death in the Bible means separation. The big question should be Where in the bible says that when people die they go to heaven or they go anywhere? The reason why people ask this question is because the churches teach that when you die you are not really dead. They play with the words soul and spirit, both inmortal according to them but not according to the bible . The truth is that man is mortal and physical in nature and the bible teach that man dies and because he does not have immortality he needs a resurrection to be able to come back . Until that day you are peacefully resting. One day at the second coming the just and just will awake for everlasting life or destruction . The kingdom of God and Jesus as king is going to take care of everybody that ever live including babies and he has 1000 years to do that.

wqnc you must use a JW study book for it is clear that our soul cannot be killed by man (Matt 10:28)and our spirit is conscious after death(luke 16:19-31) the book of John chp 17 shows that Jesus interceded o. behalf of the elect that wherever He is we will be and Paul said to die is to gain, not because of resurrection alone but because we will consciously be home with the Lord in spirit where ever he is, the book of revelations also shows elder saints whom have died under the old covenant on thrones interacting with John but also new covenant saints whom are consciously in Gods presence before His throne. our spirit and soul is immortal, what needs resurrection and immortality is our physical body nothing else. we don't cease to exist at death to then be re-created at resurrection. the fact that our spirit under the old covenant would consciously go to sheol just like Jesus did in His full humanity having a human spirit and soul to then be resurrected in a glorified immortal body 3days later shows that He gave up His Spirit to Father and He was escorted consciously to sheol where paradise was for the saints under the old covenant. paradise is now located in the 3rd heaven according to Paul where Jesus is right now.

Imagine an aborted baby wakes up in hell, and says “why am I here?” The response is “because your moth aborted you and now you’re here because you didn’t place your trust in Jesus” obviously the kid would say “how is that fair? I never had an opportunity to trust!” Now imagine the same kid wakes up in Heaven instead. He says “why am I here?” The response is “you didn’t place your trust in Jesus, but I see your helplessness and that you did not have the chance to choose me, so I graciously extend my salvation to you my child. I love you”. This seems much more consistent with God’s love and Character. God is love. His entire salvation plan was to extend grace because of His gut-wrenching compassion for His creation, how much MORE do you think He has compassion on those who died and didn’t have the chance to even choose Him?

Yes, of course, the baby has the power to allow itself to earn its place in Hell but the baby hasn’t ever committed its first sin so shouldn’t the baby go to heaven? Will they be raptured? I don’t know about that one but certainly I think (I could be wrong) hopefully we’ll know one day.

When Almighty God called Jeremiah to be a prophet, he said to him, Before you were born I knew you, I took you out of your mother's womb. According to this the spirit of God exists in the unborn baby. Doctors in a top university in Britain when they were working with test tube babies, when the spermatogenesis met the female egg, there was a spark of light, is this the spirit of God entering that tiny pheotus. This does not happe with animals. I believe that David knew the babe that died had gone back to Almighty God, and that he would meet that child again . Greetings from Northern Ireland.

I'm not sure if unborn babies go to heaven or if because they never existed outside of the womb, then they never existed. BUT, the argument here is one I can't agree with. Though we are born into iniquity, a baby cannot accept Jesus as Lord, so it is by the parent's faith that saves that child. We will know for sure one day, hopefully soon...

Idk what to believe on this matter. I'd like to say that all babies go to Heaven.. even if babies do bad things, they are not at a point where they know better yet. But at the same time, the Bible isn't clear on this subject.. and it is true that we are all born with sin. Babies sin.. but they do it unknowingly. And before people start telling me that babies don't sin, it's bs. They do. They do it in very minor ways, but they still do it. They are gluttonous, and sometimes even selfish. The Bible says you must be baptized to get into Heaven. However, the Bible also says you have to know and understand the Gospel to be baptized. You also must confess your devotion to Christ verbally before being baptized, and I highly doubt infants can do either of those two things. I think that most likely, babies don't go to Hell. I cannot picture God allowing babies to be sent to Hell when they die. But at the same time, EVERYONE is sinful.. even if some of us do not know better. And even though God is merciful, it is still a serious matter when you sin. And Hell is not a pleasant place to be at all.. it would add to the unpleasantness if there were little babies there. :( Children, on the other hand, I think can go to Hell. But I always grew up believing that you can only go to Hell once you truly understand the Gospel and truly understand right from wrong. And the age that that happens differs from person to person. Some kids mature quicker than others. I've heard of 5 year olds who understand right from wrong better than 10 year olds.
@wackyruss7 жыл бұрын
CountryButterflyFAM babies need food to survive especially when they are newborn. They aren't being gluttonous, they are merely craving nutrients so they will thrive. Calling a baby a "sinner" just doesn't make sense. They cannot do anything bad. They just eat, sleep, and poop.
@donttrip7756 жыл бұрын
ButterflyFam The Bible is clear. Nothing in the Bible points or hints that babies go to hell. But it Hints and points in so many scriptures that they go to heaven. If you want the kingdom of heaven then become as little children, the kingdom of heaven belongs to the little children. When They sacrificed babies in the Old Testament, God said they were innocent, that means not guilty. Paul said I was alive with out the law once, but when the commandment camesin revived and I died. He said when he was born he was alive to God but when he reached the age of accountability his spirit died and he had to get born again spiritually. Anyone that thinks and aborted baby, a miscarriage, or a baby that dies after birth would go to hell is a complete Psychotic idiot. But idiots think that the baby will suffer and go to hell because of Adam’s sin. Well if a woman commits a crime and goes to jail and she’s pregnant, if she has the baby in jail do they keep the baby they’re in jail with the mom. No they release the baby because the baby is innocent.

Actually there is scripture to back up this question >>> John 15:24 (Jesus said) ''If I had not done among them the works no one else did, they would not be guilty of sin. As it is, they have seen, and yet they have hated both me and my Father.'' As we know, the infants would have had no chance of seeing nor understanding Jesus miracles and teachings, even if it was taught to them ..therefore they are not guilty and will be saved

Isaac Nussbaum Deuteronomy 1:39 And as for your little ones, who you said would become a prey, and your children, who today have no knowledge of good or evil, they shall go in there. The disciples rebuked the people, but Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.” Matthew 18:3 And said, “Truly, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. 2 Samuel 12:22-23 He said, “While the child was still alive, I fasted and wept, for I said, ‘Who knows whether the Lord will be gracious to me, that the child may live?’ But now he is dead. Why should I fast? Can I bring him back again? I shall go to him, but he will not return to me.” Matthew 18:10 “See that you do not despise one of these little ones. For I tell you that in heaven their angels always see the face of my Father who is in heaven. Luke 18:15-16 Now they were bringing even infants to him that he might touch them. And when the disciples saw it, they rebuked them. But Jesus called them to him, saying, “Let the children come to me, and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God. Mark 10:13-14 And they were bringing children to him that he might touch them, and the disciples rebuked them. But when Jesus saw it, he was indignant and said to them, “Let the children come to me; do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God. 1 Corinthians 7:14 For the unbelieving husband is made holy because of his wife, and the unbelieving wife is made holy because of her husband. Everyone has opinions and most ppl base their opinions upon what they "believe" about God, yet few base their belief about God, upon what God has already revealed in His words! Can anything unclean enter the kingdom of Christ? The answer is patently "No." Ephesians 5:5 "this ye know, that no whoremonger, -----nor unclean person----, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God." Can children be unclean? The answer is patently "Yes." Corinthians 7:14 "For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband:---- else were your children unclean-----; but now are they holy For what knowest thou, O wife, whether thou shalt save thy husband? or how knowest thou, O man, whether thou shalt save thy wife?" The conclusion of the words of God is that the children fall under the covering of their parents, whether they be unclean or holy. It might not be a comfort to those that have killed their children or lost their children, if they have not been born of the Spirit of Christ, yet it is what the Lord God says. I've said it before and I will reiterate it over and over again "If pastards spoke the truth, they'd have to get a real job and work like most people, because the truth is not lucrative. "

Don't trip Yes I agree with you, there was even safe cities mentioned in the Bible , if a man truly repents of whatever his sin is or was he will be forgiven and washed clean by the blood of Jesus. But then remember the woman Jesus spoke of taken in adultery , When the men had faded away, Jesus asked her where are those that condemned you, and He said to her, Neither do I condemn you, but go and sin no more. He didn't tell her she was alright and could carry on sinning, He didn't tell her it was alright to keep committing adultery, she was forgiven , she was free, she was not to commit that sin any more. Just like this abortion act, a woman aborts a baby and then thinks it is alright to go,and do it again and again, Almighty God through Jesus will forgive her if she truly repents of her sin and stops it, I fear for her if she carries on and keep committing the sin, I know one girl as far as I, am aware that had 3 abortions, I can tell you, nothing has gone right for that girl since. Yes the blood of Jesus washes the fowlest sins away when there is true repentence. Thank you for your reply to me and greeting from Northern Ireland.
