Had no problems with items Ive ordered in terms of delivery . Using a pump foamer I arent a fan of the snow foam , just came out like dish water unless really over mixed . Gloss Boss is a fav gloss detailer , most items of theirs Ive found average to good . But what I think could be different to many others views

Thanks for sharing your experience Andy! I do like Gloss Boss as well, one of my favorite QD in regards to gloss, also 👍🏻 Snow foam, I agree, wouldn’t bother use that again, I still have almost a full bottle of it, but I will use it up for test foam lances to be honest.

What snow foam did you use mate? I use Arctic meltdown and an autoglym cannon. It comes out really thick

I love watching the water bead up the windscreen, makes it more exciting when it rains 😂

So true Craig 😎 So satisfying, not to mention safety. If I’d need to pick only one thing everyone should have is any kind of water repellent product on their windshield. So underrated in my opinion. I’m glad I’m not alone though 🙌😊

I personally like ez products. Can't say I've used product I've not liked. Currently have a huge amount of ez stuff, waiting on more coming today

That all matters the most to be honest 👍🏻 What are your favorites from EZ, what you would recommend having right off the bat for a “new to detailing” enthusiast?

I may try that stuff out. Thanks. Coming to you from Chattanooga TN

Hi Andy, this stuff is worth a shot, but I am not saying it is the best in the category! Greetings from Ireland. 👋

I use EZ stuff all the time. Lotus is my favourite glass cleaner. Everything in their range does what its meant to do. Plus they always have a deal on so you can clean for cheap. Their kits make it very cheap. To get a selection of all they do worthy of giving them a try. Lots of people slate them but I've converted at least 6 friends over and 3 of them were firmly in the autobrite gang.

Lotus is an absolute bargain when that is on sale 🔥 My only issue with EZ that their batches are varying and what works one day might not work on the other (different bottle, same product). They have some decent stuff on the market, but most are below average. However, when it’s on sale, you cannot go wrong with a few of them. At the end of the day, always use, whatever works for you the best. That’s all that matters 🙌

Hi there! I asking you, because sounds like you know what you saying. I bought for the first time this repellent. My question is-after I spread with microfiber-should I wait to dry up and then polish, and maybe later apply second layer? Or enough if straight after wipe with cloth? Little doesn't make sense for my because if liquid is wet and I wipe, I will wipe off from the windscreen? Tom
@RoadToDetailing Жыл бұрын
@tenzin044 hey Tom! I always wiped instantly. My usage: 1. Spray it on 2. Spread with a microfiber 3. Wipe the remaining residue off with an other microfiber (immediately) Optionally: Repeat the above 3 steps for a second layer. In theory, when you first spray, then spread, the agents should work and bond to the surface, so you basically will only remove the remaining (excess) residue off and level the surface to a streak free finish, if that makes sense. With this method, it always worked a treat for me. Hope this helps mate! It’s great stuff for the money in my opinion. (at least with the batch I bought back in 2021)

@@RoadToDetailing Lovely, Cheers mate. I'm in UK and couple of times I tried some rain repellent from ASDA market. Cheep shit for 4-5 GBP but actually worked. Maybe not for long time but worked. Faster I drove more rain came off. Like a magic lol But after first layer I been waiting for completely dry up and polished with thick microfiber cloth. But ok I will try your way. I will soon change my car so want testing on my old golf 2006. Thanks! T.

@tenzin044 Rain-X usually works the way you mentioned. There you need to wait until the product hazes then wipe off. Lotus is a Hybrid cleaner, means it has cleaning abilities as well as left behind a protective layer when you wipe off. So this is a bit different compared to “regular” rain repellent glass products :) (such as, rain-x, glaco, etc.) of course this should only provide a shorter time protection, but this is so cheap to use at every wash, so you can add a bit of repellency with each use, while cleaning the glass surface. Choosing and using products always a journey, trials and errors occur as well. Try both methods, and always! follow the manufacturer instructions on the label. 🙌

Just put fusso coat on your windscreen for better results
@RoadToDetailing Жыл бұрын
I wouldn’t use fusso on windshield mate. Rather use Glaco, that made to be used on glass 👌🏻🙌

What is your personal experience with EZ?
@gillywash14873 жыл бұрын
Mixed experience with EZ, most products are fine but nothing outstanding the shampoo dilution is poor, citrus prewash doesn’t seem to do much for me. Lotus, fusion and ultimate APC where probably my top 3
@RoadToDetailing3 жыл бұрын
I agree with you Nick! Most of their range is average or below that. For a discounted price I think they should be okay as a starter, for example like me, who’s just getting involved to car care, but the performance of their range isn’t pair with other brands on the market for sure. However, I think, Lotus is one of their product which I would buy again without hesitation as I like that in overall, the other favorite of mine is Gloss Boss. The level of gloss that gives, for me is very sufficient. Other than those two, not much I would pick at the moment. Their air fresheners (I tried 2) aren’t great for me at all, I regret that I ever spent a penny on those (and they weren’t cheap at all).

@@RoadToDetailing GO Glass cleaner I find is a better cleaner and better water behaviour on application, might not last as long but if you use as your external glass cleaner most washes it’s always there, if you like gloss boss you should try Garage Therapy sigma id love to see your reaction to that and it lasts a couple months 😉

I would give an arm and a leg to have GT products in my arsenal and try them out 🤓which eventually will happen with the payment of £20 shipping cost, because I can’t buy them otherwise in Ireland, so that is the only reason I didn’t have any GT products just yet. However I’m aching to have any of them since a while. Car Chem HydroCoat seems to be a good option at the meantime, especially it’s gloss level blew me away, but I would bet that Sigma would be better. Hopefully soon I can give them a go.
