Totally agree with you Miles! After ice out I rub a crawfish scent stick on my Keitech jig. I also use water based attractant primarily for finesse swimbaits. I also believe there is some magic in believing in something and an increased success rate👍 Very timely discussion 💯

I'm trying to make my own scents that are natural, water based, yet super thick like a paste or syrup so they cling better. That way it dissolves more slowly over time yet is still water soluble. Right now I'm working with chicken livers and honey.

I have to agree with you I've been using spike it and jjs magic and have had good success but i would like to try the bait fuel that's out and see the difference

Oil based is old school. The water-based scents will move threw the water .
