DO HARLEY RIDERS WAVE TO SPORT BIKES??

Waving is somewhat situational. I rarely wave on the highway but often on 2 lane roads unless I'm turning, braking, or accelerating. So I'm probably waving less than 1/3 of the time.

I"m a harley owner and few of my freinds won't wave at sport bikes for the reason they cause trouble on the sports bikes, but and general 2 whells get a wave , just my thoughts

I just got my first bike, it's a "fake" Harley Nightster, I wave to everyone. Glad to be part of the community, hopefully I can stay safe to enjoy it till I'm old and grey!

Way to go! I rode that just a couple of weeks ago. When I was younger, a lot of Harley riders completely disparaged other bikes. Almost the same attitude that a lot of riders have for Chinese bikes today. I agree "enjoy yourself on two wheels."

I have been riding Harley’s for the past 3 decades. My last sports bike was a 2001 CBR929RR. So I wave to all bikes, including scooters. Some Harley riders won’t wave to other Harley riders, some sports bike riders won’t wave to Harley riders… that’s my experience

I find that on open/bike roads you usually get a wave. In the city it is less common. I get Harley waves even on my Scoot.

On two-lane roads, or four-lane without a middle divider, greeting your fellow riders comes naturally. Greeting them across a center divider however feels unnatural, and not something I experience on a day-to-day basis. There will be the odd one, but most don't greet across dividers where I ride. So, I'd say you were lucky to get that many. Now, the real test would be if you hold back and they greet you first, or whether most are waiting for you to make the first move.

I ride a Sportster 48. It's the only bike I've ever owned, and ever wanted to. I love it. I wave at every bike I see. I haven't gone all "super Harley rider" with all the clothes and branding. I have my own thing going on, and that's just how I like it. Ride what you like, enjoy it, be safe, and keep the rubber on the road.

My expierience on a Harley and other Non-Cruiser Bikes is that the BMW GS Riders are the Non-Wave Guys. Maybe the Handguards or the heated Grips stop them to wave😆. That could be your next Wave-Test.

I ride a little 50cc Honda Ruckus and get waves from everyone. They have a strange method of waving with their middle finger extended, not sure what that's about.

Hilarious, I’m over on Vancouver island Had a dual sport and couldn’t agree anymore, the only bikers that never waved back was the Harley’s. Everyone else is so happy to wave/ wave back.

In Denmark we wave everywhere except on highways and usually the harley riders wave but once in a while not maybe didn't really think about it

While I think we just notice it more when a person on a completely different kind of bike doesn't wave, some Harley guys are snobs. I ride a CF-Moto V5. Lots of chrome on the front, blue plastic covering everything else. Its not all that unusual for a Harley rider to start to wave at me, only to quickly jerk his hand back. Funny to watch.

I think the reason most riders don’t wave back is because they’re NOT paying attention to the oncoming lane of traffic and don’t even see the other bikes. At least that’s what I tell myself to feel better whenever I get left hanging
