I Once Inserted a Detergent Inside my anus using my finger to clean up. Can That Cause Stenosis too?????
@Hello24-003 ай бұрын
Sir, I have a situation. I have no severe pain, no blood coming out while pooping, no mucus like substance either but.. my anal is quite tighter than it was before. I didn't notice it until now at all. I thought i had external haemorrhoids because i feel like a little pile just outside the anal ( not prolonged It's like what mosquito bite feels but much softer.) i had no pain while touching it too. Kinds feel uneasy knowing something is there and also i felt a little burning sensation after pooping. That's why I wanted to check if i had haemorrhoids so i was examining with my finger and realised my anal is quite tight. I can put my finger but it's quite harder than it should be. And it all happened yesterday. I am so scared because my symptoms aren't matching with anything.

I had 4th degree tears during childbirth in 1979. I was sewn up after the birth but the stitches burst and I lived that way for years till 2011 . I had an operation they gave me a sling by taking a muscle in my leg. I had so many complications . I was left with stenosis . I had a house flap a few months later. It left scar tissue . I have been dealing with this for so long. I went to see another Dr. He suggested a colostomy bag. No way! I use Konsyl every day, I use a dialators every day. My life is miserable because of it . I was impacted 3 times . What a horror show! I read on line that stenosis is a debilitating condition. I'm here to say it is. love your videos.

I am suffering from A. Stenosis since 1996, I was using an antidiarrheal (Metronidazole + Furazolidone ) TID for two days, and I found secnidazole a single dose therapy on the third day I took Secnidazole, suddenly I felt symptoms of Piles intense burning and itching. I went to the doctor he prescribed Daflon 500 mg BD with tronolane cream. after one month I was ok, then sometime after I again took Secnidazole for diarrhoea and again same symptoms appears but with low intensity since then no medication for piles and haemorrhoids helped me in this condition and several times I went to doctors, but no one recognized this. After studying much literature about stenosis I came to recognize my illness as A. Stenosis but found no treatment for this. Currently, I do not have any pain, abdominal discomfort etc but alternatively hard and loose stools (narrow) at irregular times.

A couple of times I had a prolapse from the push, that lasted several hours. 95% of the time everything is normal but what about that terrible5%. If hard stool is stuck in the opening what can I do?

Hello, it’s been 4 months I’ve been dealing with pressure in my rectum and it’s ruined my daily life routines. I no longer study or work due to the pressure and horrible feeling in my rectum / lower body. I also feel i can never finish all my bowel mouvements. And even though I have a good diet (I have GERD) i tend to feel constipated (Maybe I’m not). The pressure / uncomfortableness in my rectum really takes my focus away from anything in life. It mostly bothers me when i sit or lay down to sleep. One important thing is that my fart noises have a specific noise, it never changed and it only lets a little bit out, I always feel farts are stuck in me as well. Most the time i try to force fart or stool out … only little comes out. It’s honestly changed my life into a very dark one, this pressure in my rectum or wherever it might be has really turned my life upside down.

If I have too much fiber it doesn't "fit" and I have to wait for a lot of pressure to force the muscle open and push it out. If I make it too soft it comes out like thin ribbons or very narrow. I also have a few fissures from how narrow my anus is. I went to a general surgeon for my hemorrhoidectomy. Please go to an anorectal surgeon if you get a hemorrhoidectomy they are way more specialized, and they won't take more tissue than they should

Good news and update, I found a great doctor who gave me a prescription for diltiazem cream he said it works on 70% of his patients. I've been using it for a week while taking psyllium fiber and collagen peptides. So far, so good! The doctor told me that if the pain remains, he can do a set of botox shots that work on the 30% that the creme did not help. He said it helps 9 out of 10 times. Then he said if I'm in the 3% of that group which the first shot didn't work, he will do another botox shot, which is another 9 out of 10 chance to be completely healed pain-free. He said only 0.03% of that group need to have fissure removal surgery or anoplasty, and he said the risk of being incontinent/needing diapers for a short period is about 20% and he said it's absolutely a last resort because about 2% of people may need them long term. His name is Dr B Billings from Newport News VA. Don't suffer for a year. If your pain is still around after 3 months, please see a proctologist/anorectal surgeon (they don't just do surgery). See them for pain relief, too!

@@mariejacob6178 I had hemorrhoidectomy surgery in April of 22 and my bowel movements are still painful an hurt to pass. Doctor says not to strain during BM but if I don't strain to push it out then it'll just sit there until I'm backed up enough that the stuff behind it forces it out in turn causing fissure. Also I rarely have the urge to use the bathroom like I did before surgery plus some roids have returned. I feel like the hemorrhoidectomy has caused just a many problems as it fixed, I'm definitely not having another hemorrhoidectomy surgery and I don't know what to do anymore. This situation is ruining my life, seems like it's getting worse also. Now I'm getting fissures when before I never had any an these past two weeks I've started passing gallstones as well. If this is what 44 years old looks like I hate to think of what 50 will bring . I'm so tired of living this way an feel like I'm a burden on my wife now. She's been great in dealing/helping with everything but since surgery everything has gotten worse instead of better which was the whole reason I had the surgery. Sorry for the rambling comment, having a bad day.

Going to a major hospital here in Seattle so hopefully have good resources. I’ll probably reach out to you for secondary option. Cheers Doc…thank you!

Dr. I ve been diagnosed with anal ste. but actually my real probblem is having constant bowel movents, like 10 to 15 a day, is this caused by the anal stenosis? That's actualy the only problem I have. I am 74 years old, and a colon cancer survivor.

I had a hamerroidoctamy and now have anal stenosis as diagnosed by the consultant. Its so tight I can't find a hole and the consultant could not gain entry. The consultant suggested anal dilation under general anesthetic. However over the last few weeks I have changed diet to soluble fibre and stool softener and can go to the toilet with little discomfort. My question is if I can manage, should I leave alone? Please help.

I think this is what I have. My anal hole grew very small because of inflammation which I didnt know I had and I had really bad constipation and tried an enema. It was very painful and since then I’ve had every anal problem imaginable; fissures, prolapse hemorrhoid and bleeding, painful poops. I don’t want to go to the doctor and trying to fix this naturally.

I had an emergency hemorrhoidectomy in April of 2022. Took almost 3 months to heal because of a fissure caused by a bowel movement. Now it seems that my stool is to big to pass and gets stuck an I have to really strain to get it out. I drink plenty of water and fluids but the first two or three inches of stool is really hard and the rest is fine. What do I need to do to make bowel movement's less painful and easier to pass. I take stool softners along with Miralax but nothing seems to work for the first 2-3 inches of stool, after that passes the rest will pass with no pain or issues. This is the worst an most embarrassing thing ever, I will never do another hemorrhoidectomy surgery no matter what. Would rather have to use a bag on side then go through that experience again. Doctor said the first two weeks of recovery would be miserable and then everything would start to heal while pain would get less an less. WRONG it was about 6 weeks of pure agony, every bowel movement hurt so much that I would be pouring sweat, legs shaking an damn near black out afterwards I would feel so exhausted like I worked a hard 10 hours of manuel labor. Best way to describe was it felt like I was trying push a basketball thru a water hose, salt baths helped with healing and to get my legs to quit shaking but nothing helped for the pain. Also DO NOT USE THE PAIN PILLS!! I made that mistake because I was hurting real bad and they seemed to help, but they caused constipation which led to going two days without a bowel movement. On day three when I finally had one it was the most painful thing I've ever experienced in my life. I've had kidney surgery to remove cancerous growth, hernia surgery, pyloric stenosis surgery along with breaking my wrist, ankle, hand playing sports during middle an high-school so I've experienced pain but nothing like a hemorrhoidectomy. I would rather have all of the surgeries an broken bones happen at the same time then ever go through a hemorrhoidectomy surgery again. Most miserable, painful, embarrassing thing I've ever experienced and I'll never do it again regardless of the situation.

Hi doc, I've been having similar symptoms, like slightly narrower and slighty flat stools for about 2.5 years. But but about 4-5 months back this has become so problematic that stool became more narrower and found it more difficult to pass stools. It feela like their is a constriction at or right above the anus. Fearfully I consulted a doctor. They did Sigmoidoscopy, but to my surprise he said the results are all fine and there is nothing to worry. But I'm still have those symtoms, it is difficult to pass stools, and everytime i feel like there is more left to go after taking a shit. Please share some opinion.
