Oh good grief, the three young kids are your first priority. Daycare takes up a huge chunk until they get in school. For those who say "sell the car and buy a cheapo, well, you've got to get three car seats and two adults into this family car. Safe options are limited. Next, $82k debt with $11k in car loan means $71k in student loans. They make $140k plus. Put the student loans on a 3-5 year amortization and get on with your life. Three year amortization is about $2200 / month. Five year amortization is about $1400 per month. Any extra money, yes, toss it on the student loans until paid off. Cases like this need a realistic approach, not some financial "guru" who is trying to sell you books, apps, seminars, and steer you toward his advertisers. Not once did Dave ask about rent / mortgage, insurance, grocery expense, clothing expense, daycare expense, etc, etc, etc.
