I know its not PID, but how would one write a code in logic to see how much fluid has been used by using a flow meter?

Check out some of our High Speed Counter videos. You would do that except instead of configuring it for an encoder, you would configure it for an up counter.

Tim, Can you still get raw values like you have if the module comes scaled? Like with a 1756-IF16 module?

I guess you could scale the module for the raw values but what are you hoping to gain? The scaled value is floating point and is as accurate as the raw value.

Sure you can but if you have wanted many of my videos then you know I wouldn't get excited about it. Why do you want to use the latch and unlatch?

Haha, I checked "How Power Up Affects an OTE vs an OTL/OTU in an Allen Bradley Micrologix PLC." again. I think you avoid to use the OTL and OTU here because they have a pre scan problem in case of Power up? Am I correct?

@@dennisjiu1771 Not completely. I think the main thing is make sure you aren't using the OTL and OTU to do this because you can't make it work with the OTE. As long as you can, there is nothing wrong with it I guess.
