I buy cabinets directly from a vendor and I pay the taxes. I then sell to a builder at the total price I paid plus 20% margin. Do I only pay taxes on that margin when taxes are due?

I use square and for reason the taxes aren't showing up in the customer's total. I'm not sure how to fix that issue. By any chance do you anything about square and how to get the taxes to show in the total price?

Good video, very informative. I’m a new business owner, LLC. I provide a service, sound & lighting production for events and venues. My business is located in New York. Do I charge sales tax? I use Square to send invoices and they have a tax section that’s added to the bill if you are charging taxes, do I as a service need to add sales tax to my customers?
