I would really recommend Just Mercy by Bryan Stevenson - and also The Sun Does Shine by Anthony Ray Hinton if you haven't read that one either! Just Mercy make you mad and sad but as upsettinng as The Sun Does Shine is it also fills your heart with love and hope! ( I'm sure you know that B.S. was A.R.H's lawyer).

This was such a fun video!! Out of the Jojo Moyes books I’ve read, One Plus One is a favorite!! Bel Canto is on my list to read too. The Book Thief is my favorite book. I’m thinking I need to reread and annotate this year!

Contrary to my normal practice, I watched Crazy Rich Asians before I read the book, which I think helped me keep the multiple characters straight. The movie is one of the those that I never mind rewatching. I loved The Water Dancer (but, like other books about slavery, it's difficult). Same for Nickel Boys. The Alice Network is a good one and you'd really like it. As much as I want to say you should read Deacon King Kong (with me!) my vote is for you to read Just Mercy. It's such an impactful book and one that I think everyone should read! You did a great job of getting through your purchases! If I kept track, I don't think my numbers would be as solid as yours.

I love how you make a game out of everything! So fun! I have read A Bell for Adano. I liked it for a historical perspective but it’s slow. I just found The Vibrant Years on audio. Haven’t read it but I’m interested in it. Congrats on more read than unread! Not sure mine would be the same! 😂

@@BekahBooksandBujo Before I read Just Mercy, I read The Sun Does Shine by Anthony Ray Hinton. Fantastic book about his 30 year incarceration for a crime he did not commit. I highly recommend that one too. It’s the one that led me to find out more about the Equal Justice Initiative

Great job! I would say Six of Crows as the unread you should pick up. I haven't read it yet, but I am reading the last book in the Shadow and Bone trilogy this month. I plan on reading Six of Crows in either August or September.

From what I could find you can read Six of Crows without reading The Shadow and Bone trilogy first, but some people found it helpful to read the trilogy first as it helped them understand the Grisha a bit more. If you do just jump straight into Six of Crows you'll miss a few Easter eggs and references but nothing major. I hope this helps!
