I would never even allow myself to think it, much less do it. Boredom is no excuse. Even if my woman became ugly & stupid or a vegetable. Under no circumstances. Instead of looking for others to entertain you, learn to be self-entertaining. "Who is to blame?" Both, provided they both know what they're doing. I wouldn't fault the person who is single and didn't know the other person wasn't also single (Usually because the person in a relationship is lying to them), but if they knew, it's definitely on both of them to know better... _but,_ it's still worse for the person who actually is in a relationship, to be cheating. And no, it's not your job to cover for someone who is cheating on their partner, even if they are your friend. If it's not your business to interfere, then it's not your job to cover, either. You don't have to make someone's lie into your own lie to preserve their business.

And I completely disagree with the person saying "Maybe I contributed to their cheating"--nonononononono, cheating is ALWAYS a personal choice. If it's not a choice, if it truly was forced, it's not cheating, it's *assault.* That is a *felony.* But deciding you're "bored" of your partner so you cheat on them rather than respect them enough to break up, or talk about it, or make an effort to make it "spicy" again...? Sorry, no, that's nobody's fault but the cheater. There is literally zero excuse to cheat on someone when you could at least break it off with them before doing anything with someone else.

Mhm I always believe 100% of the blame is always the one in the relationship. They cheated not the person they cheated with. The other person is not breaking a promise. Why I could never understand, when the person finds out their partner cheated, they attack and blame the other person not the partner.
