Oh and you want to hear the best part ? Many girls in Japan use it for another ulterior motive : having a free dinner at a fancy restaurant ! @apeckx50904 жыл бұрын

And if you don't, it's not necessarily a dealbreaker, but trust me you just got -10 points on your report card, i.e. they will meet you again only if they are reaaally into you (especially for the 1st date. The next dates will be "betsu betsu" in many cases). Disclaimer 1 : of course they are not all like this, many Japanese women genuinely want to split the bill. Disclaimer 2 : please stop trusting every word they say in front of Cathy's camera : have you heard of tatemae ? Well imagine that the tatemae level is multiplied by 9000 when talking to a public audience. I salute the hard work of Ask Japanese team, but obviously there is a tatemae bias on many answers.

I met my boyfriend on Tinder and we've been together for two years. I don't understand the prejudice for the app, because these people (good or bad) are present and I could meet them either at work, at college, in the cafeteria, the difference is that the app is like an environment like this, with people already making their intentions explicit. Personal security measures are necessary, such as: meeting in public places, talking a lot, understanding body language and enjoying the meeting and getting to know the person, this can become a relationship or friendship.

I used Tinder in Osaka last year and most girls' pictures had tons of filters on them or pictures of their hair or scenery. A face profile picture was kind of uncommon to see, so it was difficult to know how the person looked like. Most of my matches were with girls that had traveled to Europe or stayed abroad studying. Also, most of the girls' bios are in Japanese, but there are some that have English too.

Over here in the States across the pond, Tinder is used for dating and casual hookups; by “casual hookups”, I don’t mean casually hanging out, I mean one-night-stands. I happen to be a single man over here, but I’ll never use Tinder or other dating apps because my path has long since be chosen for me by the only one I trust more than even my parents; God Himself, who I trust absolutely. Even were my path unchosen, I STILL would never trust a dating app. People lie too much, especially for their own selfish ends; and there are FAR too many liars in this world. I’m always willing to risk my health for a worthy cause, but never my emotional health; it’s so much harder to repair your broken heart and/or remove the pain of treachery when someone ghetto-stomps your trust and affection. But switching gears, you looked very pretty today. I always love seeing you in your white winter (or otherwise cold weather) outfits with your beautiful long hair in such adorable braided pigtails! Here's a lovely fun fact for you untill around 250 B.C.E. the bible was just a bunch of random stories before it was nit picked and cobbled together into one book. And then other shit was added on a few years later. So you can't even claim divine inspiration as mankind decided what they were putting in it and what they were going to change in it. Then if you wannabe one of them "the bible was man made but god is real and he is not the bible" morons then by all means tell me what you know of god that you didn't steal from the bible, how do you know anything of god without the bible?
