So happy to hear you say to do the breathing in and out with words Again! breathing in peace and breathing out chaos really takes down the anxiety. I have missed you doing this since you stopped some time ago. It was one of the favorites about your videos in addition to the very helpful content. When I first started listening to you I never had anyone guide me in that way with breathing and I found it incredibly helpful and relaxing especially when you were guiding us. Thank you for bringing it back so nice to experience it again!!!

Thank you for letting me know how much you liked that. I actually have a whole video of JUST the breathing with words. kzbin.info/www/bejne/Z6LJe5ugj51gns0

I like the words added too and I imagine the colour green on breathing in, and the colour red on breathing out. And I loved these lists. I think they will be very helpful.

Can’t believe how much I have changed since watching your video “you might actually be ok”, just a couple of weeks ago. It’s the first one of yours I saw. It’s been radical! I had a sense fear was playing a part for me but I didn’t have a framework to work with it. Now I have. After watching this video I just went to pick my son up from work saying I’ll be fine driving, I’m not going to panic, and you know I was completely ok instead of panicking all the way there and back. This shift is huge, I can hardly believe how things can change with these principles. Waiting for the book now so I can learn all that your approach involves.

Actually I am doing TMS program on TMS wiki page from Alan Gordon and at first I was doing it very thrhoughly, but then there was a day off with no TMS activities and that was the best day :D Now I am doing the program more comfortably, not to 100% and feels much better :) To do less than to do more :)

Hi Dan. I realise you may not have the time to read this or just miss it but I'll post anyway for my own benefit maybe. I just called into work sick after taking the day off yesterday. I took my son to school this morning whilst feeling a sense like I might be sick. I was dressed for work with the intention of going in but then I started to get stomach cramps and felt like I might do "that", so I called in sick last minute. I did try this morning to focus on the opposite. I had a big trigger recently with my family which has been amping up my nervous system over the last week, and I'm pretty certain I have cptsd. I'm seeing a craniosacral therapist and a lot of physical and emotional stuff is coming out in the sessions. But I'm just wondering, should I have pushed through? (In my own my mind I drew the line at "that")

Sometimes we get sick and it's okay to rest. Getting better from TMS includes self compassion and kindness. Need to rest? Rest.

I have been following you and all my symptoms and it was many many maybe 25 of them over 3,5years from post covid as I now know is tms dissappeared. But now from nowhere I got constant headache and i have Been to the doctor Nothing is wrong. First month I was afraid and angry but now I know Its tsm but i dont seem to be able to get rid of it as if the other symptom comes they go away and i dont care about them. Im trying to do the same with the headache but its still There 2 months later . Im starting to Loose hope but i know its tms … I had two better days not symptomfree but ok and the next day it was bad again …i kept Calm, indifference etc

IT IS A VERY UNEVEN SOLUTION - DON'T EXPECT IT TO BE OTHERWISE. KEEP STRONG THAT IT WILL HAPPEN WHEN YOU'RE SURE YOU'RE THE EXCEPTION AND THERE IS NO PROGRESS. YOUR BRAIN IS TAKING ITS TIME TO GET USED TO THE TRUTH SO THAT'S WHY GIVING UP IS NEVER AN OPTION. ONE DAY YOU WILL BE TELLING THIS TO ANOTHER PERSON.

I have becomed pretty good at not activating thru the Fs, to keep calm living life. How can I understand why a new symptom hits hard and intense and stays when I precive my brain as a calm brain...🤔

Thank you for your daily helpful Videos😀 My question: my symptoms also are moving and worsen in stressfull Moments. I notice that my symptoms most of the days get worse during the day. Could it be linked to increasing Stress or Anxiety? Maybe you have an answer for that, Dan? Or anybody else here form the Viewers experience that? Thank you
@PainFreeYou2 күн бұрын
Perceived danger creates symptoms and the amount determines the intensity. We don't need to eliminate stress and anxiety to get well. Focus on safety. That will help symptoms and anxiety. Learn more: DansFastStart.com

@@PainFreeYou Thank you so much, dan. I notice that I feel almost fine in the mornings and as the day goes by I cant get rid of thinking;"when the pain will set in?" I am suffering with burning mouth and also burning pain moving over other parts of the body. Do i get your answer right, that my increasing awareness and expecting the symptoms is causing this? Looking forward to tomorrow to buy your book😄

Dan what do you mean by do less calendar watching?? I do it all day long tracking my exercises to rebuild my muscles and strength from atrophy. I also find it hard to visualise myself walking without back pain and leg and hip pain in the countryside as I love to do that as it's good for my mental health and getting stronger and not being stuck indoors all the time

At night when I'm tired and trying to sleep, I get scary weird thoughts. I even think about scary faces and monsters. Is this part of TMS or do I have to worry?
@nancyrussell65982 күн бұрын
I'VE HAD THAT IT IS SCARY BUT NOT TO WORRY

Nothing to worry about. Figments of the imagination are not dangerous. We don't have to take those thoughts serious.
