I have been going through a similar experience with my Pentax Q and the Pentax k mount to Q adapter, with the added bonus of a 5.6x crop factor things get interesting. Great video and thanks for posting

Thanks for watching & commenting! It’s really frustrating when equipment you’ve spent a lot of money on isn’t compatible isn’t it? A 5.6x crop factor is interesting - completely different lens basically

@@deepskypics yes the Pentax Q was the smallest interchangeable lens system so it has small lenses and a small sensor, great for those fare away shots

@@adrianharrison5208 Interesting! Just looked it up more - looks pretty cool! It is small with very small sensor (but still has adequate MP resolution) The small size has it perks sometimes and that’s no joke. You can bring it everywhere without carrying a brick, a 6 lbs tripod like me, and never miss an opportunity, all while focusing on what’s actually important: technique, creative vision etc…
