Good video, the title is misleading especially as you start and end the video saying the opposite. It’d make more sense if it was “don’t buy the rebel before watching”

I have a 2023 1100 DCT Tour. I am 6ft 3. Forward controls and a Corbin seat with rider back rest. Thia bike fucking rips. It's absolutely amazing.

I have the’22 Rebel 1100 DCT bro and I love it!!! I just put a Mustang seat on it and it makes me sit taller on the bike. I’m 6ft - 235 lbs and my bike fits me just fine. Great video, thanks!

People often say the bike doesn't have a clutch, but what they mean to say is it doesn't have a clutch lever. The DCT has two clutches "dual clutch transmission"

Just finished the first ride home from the dealership (120 miles) and two things come to mind. Number one, definitely not a beginner bike.. Number two... this is probably the best bike I have ever owned. 100% recommend riding one if you can. Great video, even with a click bait title 😅

Definitely click bait but to be fair, I did point out some negatives. But overall, this bike is amazing and addicting! Check out the video I just released today!

I'm 6'2 and I've had my manual 23 grey 1100 for 8 months months now. I'm coming up on 13,000 miles and I've done a good amount to it. Seat upgrade I found to be an absolute must. Depretto forwards and bar risers for a better ride position and a Memphis shades gauntlet for some wind reduction. I've also done the speedo healer so I've taken mine up to 128 mph. People really underestimate the 1100. I ride mostly with sportbikes and unless I'm with a track demon thats dragging knee I have no problems keeping up on twisty roads. I was very comfortable coming out of the MSF course so the 1100 was actually my first bike. I'm glad I didn't get the 500 because I probably would have traded it in before getting my permanent plate in the mail. I haven't decided what I'll upgrade to from the 1100 but I will say cruise control is a requirement.

Wow that’s awesome! Does the bike get speed wobbles that fast? I’ve heard it does around 95+? Thanks for watching!

I used to ride dirt bikes but was too young for motorcycles. At 22 I just bought this as my first bike. Couldn’t be more excited to get this baby on the road 🎉

I have a Rebel 500 2020. The styling of the Rebel is like no other, it's bratty, naughty, sexy, but my cons are: 1. Worst seat ever, I had to get a mustang tripper which improved the look of the bike and raised it 1". 2. The exposed pipes with no belly pan, / small radiator meant the pipes got discolored / started to rust very quickly. 3. No adjustments to the controls / clutch / brakes. You'll have to get a 3rd party forward control kit - BUT, if you do this you might not be able to install crash guards. I picked guards, and have to bear the discomfort because I'm 6' and look like a clown on a tricycle (jk, but not jk). 4. not a con, but wish it had a belt. It's a modern bike, with modern tech, but it's not modern like a maintenance free indian scout for instance. I think it's perfect for shorter people, women, and those who just take short rides. Handling is great, vs a heavy / forward control cruiser with shitty ground clearance for leaning / turns. For me personally, I'll keep it for 5 years and trade it for a Indian Scout Sixty.

Very great points. The 1100 you should try to ride. Completely different feel. I love Indian bikes but I’m too much of a Honda guy lol. I could possibly be talked into one though, lol. Thanks for commenting and watching!

Bought mine in october 2021. Manual. I love mine. Swapped out the seat for a corbin and got the touring vance and hines exhaust. Saddlemen and corbin make comfortable two up seats. My first bike too. Just left that bike in rain mode for 6 months and thank god i did because i wouldve already been bored. Good bike though.

It's a great bike, but I've found there is more comraderie in the mini moto space. Plus, if you like to mod your ride, there are not many options for a bike like that.

If you are an adult get the 500 or the 1100. An adult is going to outgrow the 300 really fast. Although, if you are only going to go around town and are almost never going to go on the highway the 300 might do for a while. You will have a hard time staying up with traffic if you take the 300 on the highway... and the interstate is probably out of the question.

Yes. If I was you I would get the Honda Rebel 300 to start. Or even a 500 if you feel like you’ll catch onto things like riding fast. Also, wear proper safety equipment/clothing. Once you buy one, you’ll be addicted. Trust me! Thanks for watching!

Can you get it with a clutch I am a traditionalist motorcycle need a clutch can't do a automatic just seems like your not riding in my opinion another bad reason for no clutch now random none experience riders starting out on a big cc the clutch help keep people off bikes that didn't need one or get one to fit skill lever bad idea without a clutch

Had a rebel 110 DCT - BEWARE I owned a rebel 1100 DCT for a couple of months and had a major, major problem. I had my bike service at 450 miles. On my ride home I noticed that the bike DCT transmission was engaging while I was stopped. I ignored the issue hoping that it was an one off. After riding the bike for ~200 miles the DCT transmission engaged again while I was stopped and the bike transmission/power over rode the braking system (Front and Back brakes) and took off. I tried with all of my energy to stop the bike but it wouldn't hold. I ended up crashing into a wall, broke a couple of ribs and my collar bone. I do not know if this has happened to anyone else? There is no clutch to override so BEWARE and practice hitting the kill switch!
