Outstanding. I love mine - needless to say, it is a conversation starter when I wear it. I must say, I did not know the earth transit was exactly 14 seconds. I had been told that when you engage the chronograph, snoopy takes 14 seconds to "emerge" from the far side of the moon on his way home. But, I timed it and it is actually 13 seconds, so I learned something new. A couple of points: the silver snoopy award is NASA's highest because it awarded by the astronaut office itself; it is always presented by an astronaut; and as suggested, the medallion is always one that has "flown".

While not limited, the Snoopy 50 is extremely hard to get. My Omega Boutique got 2 for this year (2022) and she said that was a lot. One would have to play the Rolex game to get this one and the secret is go to an Omega Boutique, not AD. Edited for word omission

@@KZbinuser1aa A boutique carries no other brand except Omega. You don't get discounts but are given a VIP experience when looking for an Omega. They have a broader selection plus you get dibs on the hot watches. if you've bought from that Boutique, the sales associate will remember you. I'm not sure whether they have a closer affiliation with Omega or not. An AD carries Omega's but other brands too. Same thing with Rolex. They have Boutiques and then there are ADs. If you want a hot watch, a boutique is the way to go. Purchase history helps too. edited for punctuation

I couldn’t even put my name on a list for this, boutique salesperson said this watch is basically for big spending loyal customers. I’ve bought a couple of things from the boutique and I’m in their system but I’m obviously nowhere near the big spending whale that they say this watch is being allocated to. Omega(corporate)still says that it’s not a limited edition and everyone that wants one can get one, lol. I’m getting real Rolex vibes with this one(which isn’t a good thing)

Hey man I don’t know which boutique you’re dealing with but here’s some food for thought. Unlike Rolex with omega boutiques the purchase history can be of other watches that you also want. At Rolex you must buy shitty jewelery to maybe get on a waitlist. Let me give you a plan Keep going to the boutique and buy watches from them that you like, when you’re done with it sell them! And then go buy another one. You will lose a bit of money but eventually you’ll get the snoopy and you’ll probably keep many of that watches you buy from them if you pick things you like. Many soeedmasters don’t lose value when you flip them you probably just lose tax which is still a lot but this is far better than Rolex. And I suspect omega boutiques get maybe 1-2 a quarter maybe max 10 a year but they never make it to retail they all just get sold to clients with purchase history. Our whole family buys from the same place and it works to our advantage because buying watches for 4 people automatically gives you good purchase history because at the very least we’ve bought 4. And if I really wanted to speed up the process of getting the snoopy I could’ve done what I said early in flipping multiple watches until they give me. Actually just got told that I’m getting it on the next allocation after buying a fifth watch. All of these watches get worn and I will never sell them unless I’m broke and I need money for forbid!

I love my 3861 sapphire sandwich, it is a nice bracelet too (I assume this is the moonwatch strap you’re referring to). I think it would be perfect if they had only included more micro adjusting to it.
