I am also going through this situation. I want divorce but no one supports me. Everyone is forcing me in every situation. Parents are cursing me.I am praying & make dua to God. But they will not be accepted, my parents is saying. Mentally they're torturing me a lot. They are trying to weaken my faith.

I had ever been in that situation sister. It was so hard, and I felt nobody in my side. I had to through that marriage for about 6 years. My mental broke. But at the end, I pray more and more that Allah will give me the way out of my problems. Alhamdulillah Allah gives me the way out of my problems after around six years. So, don't lose hope, sister. Always pray and ask for the best from Allah.

Iam interested in marrying a man and he is equally interested in marrying me , Im 25 and he is 27 but my parents are saying that if I marry him they would cut off all the contacts with me and I wll no longer be welcome in my own home .. You can also use the right to have your marriage annulled and obtain a divorce (Khul). Allah helps those who help themselves.

If you really think about it , marriage is about love and responsibility, in Islam that’s what we think , to take responsibility and fulfill the needs emotionally and physically , and to have rights within a marriage between a man and a women , forced marriages are forbidden, because that isn’t love , you’re not a person to be sold to other people, you pick the person yourself, don’t let you’re parents dictate you , they have the last say , whatever you’re reason for not liking this specific person , they have no rights whatsoever to tell you to marry him .

Say NO to your marriage when they ask you. A nikkah can not take place without your consent. If you have already gone through with the nikkah, then you can seek divorce (Talaq) or Khul. If you feel you can not say 'no' or seek divorce because you are afraid you will embarrass or hurt your family, then nobody can help you. Either you choose deen or culture.

you all scholars say that it’s haram and all but never really gives solutions to the one who are suffering in the forced marriage and then you guys say that it’s even haram to divorce then what are they supposed to do ? stuck like that without any emotional connection in a baseless marriage? and when they leave the forced relationship they are suddenly the bad person in the society and everyone mentally torture them and make their lives miserable and guilt trip them on thinking how they are bad the person in all ways but never really see their suffering.

You have the right to not say Qubool, my dear. But with due circumstances if you are forced and has gone long way without any mental and emotional connection, I feel you must approach your partner, if that doesn't work, you must not be stuck, and get divorce. And even if this doesn't work, the best is Pray Tahajjud, ask Allah swt about your needs, cry in Sujood, Allah listens, and with time things will fall right.

You raise valid points. But it is also your own duty to learn about and know Islam instead of relying solely on scholars and others. For instance divorce is not haram and consent is mandatory. You know that as well as they do. First of all, I firmly believe people should stop accepting such marriages and have the courage to say NO. Its not like they are at 🔫 point when asked to consent. Just say no. Yes it will cause embarassment and your folks may scold you and emptional blackmail but they cant physically force you to utter YES. Secondly divorce is a halal right if you care to study the Quran and Allah created it for a reason. Even in Sunnah you have examples of forced marraiges and how the prophet annulled them and declared them void (batil) and contrary to what others may say, you dont even have to stay 1 day in such a marriage. Consent is also part of Islam and applies to both men snd women. Surely you know that. So if you want practical solutions I suggest you start understanding islam. Marriage is a voluntary act, not forced. Read what Allah says about marriage, the husband and wifes rights and obligations over one another. Know what Allah days about parents. Know that your obedience does not apply, if what they ask you to fo something that is wrong or haram. In that case you are allowed or rather commanded to stand against themfor the sake of what of is right, halal and justice. Dont just rely on others, scholars or not. Help yourself. Use your common sense and be brave.
