It was a split second calculation, notice that once he was on the cue ball, he knew instantly where to aim and with no hesitation, he shoots it like it was a regular shot, but it isnt, he made the 6ball and with position on the 7-ball next. He got lucky on the last bounce at the side pocket. A little weak in the shot could've scratched the cue. A little stronger and it would have sent the cue down the table. Nonetheless, it was the baby bear moment where his shot is "just right."
