Finally getting to show you guys what I love doing most! The Gym is my favorite place to be to get away from everything else crazy in life. Working out and staying active during school is a must. I hope you guys like it!

It's reassuring to see you haven't compromised exercise as part of your dental school experience - it's also my way of relieving stress. I'm currently deciding between pursuing dentistry or medicine. In a few words, would you mind sharing how you came to choose dentistry, and how you feel about it now that you're well into your first year? It'd be appreciated, from a college senior looking to find his path.

Yeah man. I have a whole video about exactly that. Choosing between med school and dental school that is probably just what you are looking for. But real quick I would say that dentistry fits my personality and end life goals a little better than medicine. I really want to be in control of my own schedule and business. Also, the pre-dental students I was surrounded by in undergrand were some of my best friends, where as the med students just seemed quite different than me personality wise. I hope this helps! Hey man, what did you wear or what would you recommend wearing to your first time shadowing a dentist

I would make sure to ask the Dr. before I went. Most of the time scrubs are what they'll have you wear, but some Dr's like business casual.

Yeah! The best thing to do is to make charts/tables/flashcards for all the diseases you need to learn. They are all very similar so the only way (for me) to keep them straight is to make crazy neumonics and sayings about them. For example... helicobacter bacteria use urease to make pH to go up in the stomach. Helicopters go straight up. Boom that's how I remember it ha. Stupid I know but trust me it works. Good luck!
