Any questions? Feel free to contact me using the above link. I'm a real estate agent by day garage monkey by night. That's my contact form as I'm TERRIBLE about checking comments on these videos.
I rebuilt my GMT800 / 2001 Tahoe. I've gone through EVERYTHING except taking the body off the frame. Even disassembled the electronic modules; ABS; Stereo Head Unit, amp, etc.
My most recent culprit has been the door actuators. I came SO close to buying new ones until somebody on a forum told me it was something else. You see, these actuators SELDOM if ever wear out. However, the harness gets worked every time you open and close the door. It eventually breaks apart the wires in the door jam.
I have a means to get an idea if this is your problem or the actuator. I discovered my issue is actually the door wiring harness. It needs rebuilt or replaced.
Hope I helped save you a few bucks! If it's your harness and you're somewhat handy, you can fix it for a few cents. Instead of hundreds of dollars, probably thousand plus now, for shop to take apart your doors and replace each actuator.
FYI ~ I have a bit of a wondering mind. I'd love your subscription but this channel here is like my catch all for fixing stuff, reviewing stuff, and just things that don't fit elsewhere on KZbin.
