A draw would not have been a good result for Luton that argument is complete bollox. Everton were already 2 points ahead, they have a game in hand and an easier run in. Luton only need to beat one club and with 4 games left the club with the same no of games, only one point ahead and Man City and Chelsea to play is by far the better chance to overhaul. Forest losing is far more beneficial to Luton.

Good, fair play to Nottingham Forest. A club has to officially call them out. We at Liverpool have been fuming about all PGMOL Refs and VAR in general, you all laugh at us. Now everyone is starting to see why PGMOL and VAR craps cannot be tolerated any longer and something drastic needs to be done.

VAR also robbed Coventry. Fans should protest the FA cup final by not buying tickets.

Watch some old matches and see the mistakes. Watch Middlesbrough v Leeds and see Gnonto at least a metre offside and goal given with no VAR. This could get Leeds promoted!

Having the "right" to do something wrong doesn't mean it's the right thing to do.

While some have argued that the first two were marginal, the third denied penalty creates the narrative that Forest was never ever going to be given a penalty for "reasons". Why should we believe a fourth mistake (or second mistake) would be any different? The officials at this point have that much credibility. This EPL season has the worst officiating I have ever seen in a professional league. Things are only getting worst, not better. It was a shambles from the very beginning of the season and we see massive failures pretty much every match day. Forest is not wrong for pushing that narrative. It was handed to them on a silver platter. Pundits are being tools for not seeing that, even if they disagree.

I do agree, clubs should not be selecting refs they don't like. BUT in this instance because there is some sensitivity to this game, the time of the season (intense), would it not have been prudent to quietly make a scheduling change. But I do think Forest has the right to express their frustration. Mainly because its clear that the normal channels of communication mean nothing. We can all see there is a genuine issue with VAR and how it is being used, far too many incidents are happening. I do not think it comes from a place of corruption, but from a place of hubris and incompetence. And, I would like to officially see the 'drawn' offside for the Coventry goal. I don't know if it's true, but the latest circulating image of the drawnline has it going over the United players foot which would have resulted if drawn correctly a goal for Coventry. That is pure incompetence and as shocking a decision as this may be as its unheard of the match should be replayed. People are incensed by the unfairness of wrong decisions when they are known not by human error.

The situation was going to shine a harsh bright light on this official. Forest pointed this out. The situation could easily be fixed. Nothing was done. The official failed spectacularly. The powers that make official selections handed the ugly narrative to Forest on a silver platter. Forest, their polite suggestions ignored, are absolutely right to go with the narrative. @Lioness_UTV: "I do not think it comes from a place of corruption, but from a place of hubris and incompetence." Yes...but. A habit of covering up the incompetence of mates is a form of corruption. A habit of not caring about the professionalism of your colleagues is a kind of corruption. The rot starts from the top. On paper, Webb's ideas sound reasonable. On the pitch, the officiating has genuinely gotten worse. The "we answer to no one" attitude that Webb seems to encourage means we should expect things to continue to get worse. Either fans need to get much louder and clubs need to get much louder, or the situation will only get worse. Mark my words.

When mainstream media start to dilly-dally on a topic or brush it off quickly you gotta be careful...Non of the mainstream media is actually calling out the refs or PGMOl cz this is ridiculous. It's a business,3 points at the end of the season could be the difference in millions for Forest and y'all are out here busy talking like it doesn't matter. WHY CANT THEY JUST FIX VAR??

You should never question the integritiy of a referee. Just like you should never question the integrity of The Post Office.

If a ref was a city fan and he turned down those decisions in a arsenal vs liverpool game there would be uproar
