Edmonton this year reminds me of the Panthers last year. Had some key injuries playing in the Cup. The Panthers made a concerted effort to go into the Cup finals healthy this year.

The purpose of scoring systems in sports is to measure the better team. The Panthers’ score was higher than Edmonton’s score in game 1, therefore the Panthers were the better team.

@@illwillsquared Last postseason the Panthers were good against Eastern Conference opponents although the Leafs scored not just ONE, but TWO, goals/game and actually WON a game. These Oilers by contrast have only scored ONCE over their 1st 2 games in this Cup final, on the same Sergei Bobrovsky who'd beaten the Leafs in 4 of 5 games in that 2023 playoff series.
