This is what I'm learning as a novice. Was shooting way too many rounds at the range and not doing enough dry fire practice. I'm learning to ignore all the "Tactical bro" nonsense as it doesn't apply to me and makes me overthink. Now I just shoot low left sometimes. That's one problem and it's good to only have one to work on rather than be all over the place and not knowing why, searching for solutions.

You get it my bro. You get it. The issue is your grip most likely. Mastering the grip is the most important fundamental PERIOD. If mastered you can get away with a not so perfect trigger squeeze. Sight alignment comes next of course. But if you use a dot practice seeing the dot during dry fire. Also check your dot zero. Hope this quick tip helps. Thanks for watching.

Good talk! Shoot, move, communicate/think. Nothing could be more simple and infinitely challenging at the same time.

We have an overdose of information and everyone is shilling. My first pistol, the G19.5 is perfect and I didn't know it for 4 years. I bought other pistols, they are also perfect. I got dots. I still prefer irons as my eyesight is still decent. There is just too much noise in the space and not enough self reflection.

I absolutely agree and different people selling the same information. But with that said, there is some good info out there for free. Communication is key.

Good point you made about the comp on the 9 mm. I feel like recently the community has been heavily leaning into the "if you ain't got the gucciest gun, it ain't worth it" and don't get me wrong, to each their own. But I think this tacticool mentality of just puttin stuff on a gun cuz "tactical" is simply a bit cringe and also not the most practical. Whenever I see people with their Gen-Z, frame-cut Zoomer ARs I just think it looks silly and weird. Not that they shouldn't be allowed to do so, it's their money, but the sense of down-to-earth pragmatism for which I absolutely love some fireams is just gone. In the end it comes down to individual ergonomics and practice imo, no amount of money spent on expensive optics, rails or furniture will ever compensate lack of practice. P.S. found the way you explained the grip & dry firing practice pretty nice ✌

Thank you for adding to the conversation and watching. Interaction is what I enjoy most about this platform. You made some great points that I often ask myself when watching people on the range and on KZbin. And yes, it's their money and their stilo, but I can't help to think that that money could have been better spent. Then you watch them perform and it confirms that the money could have been better spent... Lol, but they can do whatever they want. I just want to feel safe at the range. Peace...

of course we do. shits expensive and shooting/training is expensive. sometimes surviving with food and bills is more important

Perhaps...To be honest though... Most of the training I do is modeled after my old basketball training... Moving without the ball and not taking a shots. You'll be amazing how good you can get for free. The expense is definitely a factor for some and not so much for those with means.

i was taught to shoot pistols one handed when i was a kid by my Uncle who was a Royal Marine in the 60s, and even after a stint in the army i still shoot pistols one handed (old habits die hard), i'm no expert marksman but i ht my shots and i've never shot a fancy handgun just old revolvers, a Canadian Service Browning Hi Power and a stock SIG P226 from armed security work and only see optics or fancy accessories as a hindrance

maybe first time shooters after 300 rounds in one day can be sore? from the look of your hands you are in shape, sounds like these are weak people becoming sore. im loving that staccato btw, subbed!
