Oct 16 2022 Zone 6b Ct. Like you did but in garden soil, We used PVC tubing for hoops and cloth as a row cover tunnel for our bush green beans row. I picked 2 quarts that day. Temp was 10 degrees warmer under the row cover. GreenT your greens look so nutritious and healthy. GreenT. We have an air thermometer that has a long metal stem. Not for meat. It comes in handy because we have some areas of our gardens getting more sun and less. Enjoying our discoveries. Enjoying life.

I use plastic sheeting. I tripled it and I remove it when it’s warmer.

Crazy enough, but I moved my tomato plants that were in containers into my garage when it first snowed in October (in Colorado!).. And I'm actually still harvesting tomatoes in December!! 🤗💕 Thankfully, my garage is south-facing, so I open the garage door when the weather is good and sun my garden for about 2 hours a day. I'm letting it go for as long as it will!! 🙂❤️
