Once I answered an add on Craigslist to the mother of a little girl who lost a tiny gold bring with a small diamond. It was hanging on a chain necklace that had broken when she was playing. they found the chain but were unable to recover the ring. I told him I would go to that area and search for it. I found the ring and I returned it to the little girl. As I was searching I also found a gold plated tungsten carbide Lord of the Rings the one ring. It was about a size eight and a half. It fit my pinky. A wonderful reward find. the mother and little girl we're sincerely grateful as the ring was given to the little girl by her grandmother who had recently passed. They tipped me 60 bucks. I was grateful. It was out of school I was digging in and around the yard I also found two fifty cent pieces and then Irish Erie. Very cool finds.

I once found a $5 coin scatter and a 14k white gold cross with diamonds in it. I put up flyers asking if anyone had lost a piece of religious jewelry in the playground to call me and describe it. No one ever called, so after a month, I kept it. I also found a 8GB memory card from a camera with pictures from a little girl's birthday party. I posted one photo without kids in it and asked if anyone recognized any adults from that party. Their neighbor called. It was the little girl's father's. He was so grateful to get the memories back.

P.S.- none of this was metal detecting, this was all by hand. I'm still saving up for a decent detector.

Nice hull from the tot-lot. Kids aren’t wearing gold since the price went through the roof. I still find a piece of gold occasionally from tot lots but not like before. Congrats on the nice heavy 14k white gold ring!

The mini rusted key u found around 2:44 is to a crayon box for kids for school it has a lock on it I'm pretty sure there called "Valtz" but I really don't remember. It's been a long time since I've had one

Each useable washer is worth about $0.05-$0.10. Add a dollar to that or $10 if you NEED a washer and dont have one AND you have to make a special trip to buy one. SAVE THOSE WASHERS!!!$

Pretty sure that key you found at 10:02 is an old handcuff key. Vintage, because it doesn't have the double-lock horn on top of the round loop.

Hey Roller, I have mostly found junk or kids jewelry at playgrounds (lots of clad too). My son did find a silver earring with a small diamond at a playground. Well put together video. My favorite plays are toot lots and play grounds. I have a rule for myself, on chips or sand, all meta,l zero discrimination, and full sensitivity and dig it all. The only real complaint I have with this is the At Gold I swing goes very deep in these areas and finds the tiniest pieces if metal. The nice thing it finds lots of silver and gold ear rings. I subbed so I won't forget to watch some of you other videos. Thanks GL&HH

I use a teknetics T2 and never use high sensitivity by metal poles in tot lots too much interference. When I used my whites classic 1 and classic 3 machines I was able to detect full sensitivity and next to metal poles. Jewelry and coins can fall close to metal poles.
