Do Postpartum Belly Wraps Really Work? My Postpartum Belly Wrap Journey After 4 Pregnancies

If you really want to know if postpartum belly wraps work, I want to tell you they do. I’m a physical therapist and a mom of 4. I wore postpartum belly wraps for 3 out of 4 of my pregnancies and I tried all different kinds. I know what works and what doesn’t work and I was able to compare the difference between recovering post pregnancy with a postpartum belly wrap and without one. There was a huge difference. Yes belly wraps help so much, 1 week pp my pregnancy tummy was gone I just had to lose the weight after that, got it all off by 4 months postpartum

it’s generally recommended to wear it throughout the daytime when you are up and active, to help support your core, promote proper healing with compression, and keep your pain at a minimum! you don’t have to wear it at night when you are in bed, or winding down/less active :)

Unfortunately, you are past the recommended window of time I suggest wearing it. I recommend focusing on D.R. Exercises with a physical therapist.

Question: so I’m on my 4th baby .. first baby he was large 9 lbs I borrowed a waist trimmer from someone but it made me swear also .. he stretched my skin horribly... second baby she was small 6lbs .. I bought a sweet sweat belt which I loved ... I had someone pull tight for me.. I looked great afterwards... 3rd baby 8 lbs I didn’t buy anything I got a compression suit for free it didn’t work 😩😩.. I still looked pregnant months later .. I’m average build .. and I was working out before her.. so I was toned... so this one if I got a better belt you think it’ll start over to where I can have a flatter stomach from what the last baby gave me?? (FYI all my children are 4 years apart, except the last one I had just 2 years ago from this one) due 12/05/21

i didnt know any of this i had my first at 19 and i was basically homeless with no close female rolemodel to inform me i had another baby and didnt use one i"m 27 now my oldest is 8 now middle 6 and i had a baby 3 months ago i'm 5'6 155lbs i'm skinny fat just skinny but with a belly that still looks pregnant ive gotten down to 119lbs before with fasting and still had a belly is it too late to try this 3 months post partum with 6 years between this and my last pregnancy? i bout a binder off of amazon
