To make these things rockets you need long tube headers, cam with MDS delete, 392 Durango intake manifold and or long tubes with 5 pounds of boost with supporting mods.. HP tuners is the best with dialing everything in with a engine/transmission dyno tune it hit different

SOME machines out there (from my 54 yrs racing/building) deleting mufflers and what not can actually lose HP......a little back pressure created from a performance muffler can be good thing and help boost power. However, too much or too little can do the exact opposite. Too little can decrease the power output, too much will cause a decrease in HP, overheating and poor gas mileage, if that's a concern.....there is a fine line and totally different on all engines/builds. I build and run a lot of Fords, mostly small blocks these days, they actually like some restriction...302/351 builds I suggest Dynomax S.S. Ultra Flo Welded.....I have proven over and over with my builds/dyno runs.....even better than open headers.....can believe it or not....if not, meet me at the track...lol. Keep it between the ditches guys and gals.

Love the channel bro. I did a mid muffler delete and get compliments all the time on how it sounds. The 5.7 hemis are for sure raspy, I’m so over this Vegas heat already the 5.7 gets sluggish it’s seems in the summer which this is my first summer owning the car but bought it in winter when she was putting down crazy numbers.

Hollow cats with spacers don’t throw a check engine light. Did it to my 5.7 and no check engine light

I have aR/T challenger classic and i left the cats on put spin tech mufflers and resonator delete then used the diablo tuner and put a 93 octane tune and turned off the MSD and that woke it up. I would tell anyone first think to do is MSD turn off.

From experience, mid muffler/resonator delete isn’t worth it unless you have some high flow cats and exhaust manifolds. For sound, do the mid muffler delete (deal with the drone). For performance, definitely worth buying a free flowing exhaust system from headers to tips with a tune.
