Do these Rosa Gallery paints mix a green? 24 Granulating Watercolour Mixes, Day 11

Hello Everybody,
Today I'm mixing Indanthrene Grey (PB60) with Golden Ochre (PY42). These colours don't mix a green, which is what I'd been hoping for. I still think it might be useful for landscape painting.
There will be a photo of the mix in the Posts section of the channel later. And if I do forget for some reason (it is a busy time, after all), please remind me!

Was the PY42 granulating?

It granulates a tiny little bit, but Rosa themselves have marked it as non-granulating. I find there's just a little bit of gentle texture though.

PY42 and PY43 don't mix greens with blues; they mix greys or vaguely greenish greys.

I have one PY42 that actually mixes nice natural greens with some blues, but it is sadly the exception to the rule. I didn't really have high hopes here tbh, seeing as the PB60 is already on the grey side. thank you!

@sonyaoart Interesting! Which company made that PY42 paint?

@@awatercolourist It's Van Gogh's version. One of the first ones I painted a lot with, and I've been trying to find another one like it. I'm still looking.
