The thing is they should not count an afk towards win% or pokemon win rate. Afks can happen with anyone because of any reason. If you keep banning for 1 afk, people would leave the game. But intentional grieving should definitely give perma ban.

It's not even an AI. It's just if player gets x number of reports give x penalty. They MIGHT look at reports if someone is being reported a massive amount.

In my opinion, giving punishments to terrible players are very good take but sometimes, I got disconnect from the Internet all of a sudden, causing me to idle for half of the match. I try really hard to get back to my match and if I don't, I feel sorry for those who matched with me in the team.

It only happens sometimes while terrible players do it probably 90% of the time, if they improve it you dont get banned for when it happens since its not happening every time (little advice, if you notice the game loads a lot restart it because it will most likely disconnect you when you enter a game)

when you *_genuinely_* have connection issues, it doesn't deduct fair play points or do the timeout. If, however, you exit out of the game abruptly thinking it will read as disconnecting, there's a good chance it will not work in your favor.

Pokémon UNITE really needs to address the state of their MOBA. Implementing something like an IP ban would cut down on the number of griefers. Also, implementing something in the selection algorithm that would allow players that banned certain players to not be paired up with that IP. Then, the griefers would be selectively filtered by being reported.

It's because voice chat is the most 'dangerous' to them (but they still don't want to manually check reports). So vc reports are treated more harshly. Trolls know this so if they dislike how you played or whatever they can just report vc to guaranteed get you in trouble.

I've had more games here recently with people absolutely trolling/going AFK. These type of players get rewarded no matter what the outcome is. If we lose, they get exactly what they wanted and everyone else suffers. If we win, nothing changes for them and the rest of the team is only punished mentally.

1) Avoid Button with a list of 100+ people (yes I met that many throwers/toxic players 1.1.) Add text chat for team and match so you can call out grievers 1.2) Add a 'griever spectate' button: After 3 min into the game one can use this button (similar to surrender). Then the enemy team will get the possibility to spectate you or the person you marked as 'griever'. Then they will decide if the griever gets banned or not. If banned the match stops immediately - no one wins/loses; it's a draw, expect for the griever(s), they should get banned, after a review, immediately - hell if possible timi should ban there IP is well. 2) Fix the laggy menu and ban phase 3) Make Talonflame Meta forever

Personally, my biggest issue is the unbalanced duos and trios you get, there's no way I can enjoy playing the game when my duo has 48% and the in the other team there's one with 60% or even worse, the number of games, getting paired with a 450 games player is just handicapping you too much and it gets very frustrating.

I think the teammates I generally get, and consider bad players, are simply bad players. I'm not a streamer so I've never faced targetted trolling like that but the players that make my games unwinnable are simply that, bad player who simply don't know how to play. I understand the matchmaking system isn't great, but I don't want to be teamed up with an Ultra player while I'm at Master 1500. I know that number doesn't mean anything but it still does show that I put in some time and effort into getting there. Why am I being teamed up with players who either can't or won't put in about the same amount of effort into winning the game as I do. When I lose a game with players who actually put in their best efforts, I don't even mind losing, I'm just happy to have played a good game where I saw everyone trying to win, giving value to my time and effort, and their own.

At the *very* least, blocking a player should prevent them from being added to a team you're on, *and* from being put on a team as part of the "match making" process. This happens in a ton of multiplayer games, but folks who get randomly rage-reported aren't going to have that happen every game. Actual griefers will get reported every game. There should - at the very least - be a report counter that sends a review to an _actual person_ after 10-20 reports so they can pull the trigger on a ban or other appropriate punishment. It's not a job that can just be sent to an AI

I'd certainly say we're at a tipping point. I've gotten my girlfriend to play this game with me so when we pay together we'll call a lane before the match (we have our clan in our names) and it gets neglected by players all the time. Even after we both call top or bot path it doesn't matter. We're at the point where this game needs so many adjustments and I think this would be a good solution. In addition to that, I think perhaps a role queue would be a fantastic idea too.

Weeding out the bad players would make up for the price hikes, but it's unlikely unless they did price hikes to justify hiring on more people. You can't automate something like this. The voice chat automation is proof of this. If you get pinged 'cause someone salty, people are just going to stop playing.

I totally agree. I would change this: 1. All what you said Spragels. Permanent bann grievers. 2. Fix MME system with winrate. My overall winrate is 60% in around 5000 games. I alwayd get matxhed with 45% winrates to "equalize" winrates. They should make winrates on actual winrates ( 53% and above match together) everything below 51% should be match together. 3. Remove rank protection card. Terrible players can abuse it and get master. People that belong in veteran can get master now. 4. You should be able to block people to prevent getting in your team again. It has now 0% value.

Then he started following me around and I eventually went AFK and got sick of it. I did see him in the next game but on the opposite team, so I got cocky and forced myself to win that game. Ive said it numerous times in surveys that they need to make tickets better for players. A) they made ot harder to report because you havento go into the battle screen rather than the main screen when done with matches. B) They need to habd out more than -fair play. How about sucessful reports start with a 30 minute lockout of ranked. Then go to a 60 then 3 hour lockout ect. It tracks you maybe even ban up to a month. Also make ot so you have to go X days/weeks/months to earn back lost points. (And no please stop punishing people who DC at the start of the lobby but join back after it takes ages of loading to get back in because that one is on the servers not players) C) This type of stuff happens a lot to the normal player base especially when you pick a mon someone wanted to use. Im sure it happens to streamers a lot more but man it happens a lot.

Yeah you should never be paired with or against players you’ve blocked. And like you said they need to monitor their system better to wipe out all of the players who troll against their teammates. And at the beginning of the game the jungle should be locked so no one but the jungler can gain all of the experience needed. I’m tired of teammates fighting over the jungle and I’m tired of teammates stealing the jungle. Or their should be a button to press to unlock the jungle where the “keep the pressure on” commands are to unlock the jungle for allies who actually need it or somehow falling under level. Pokémon unite can really be a fun game at times when teammates are actually trying and putting their all into the game. But when people are trolling it turns into a whole different game, trolling is one of the most common things in unite And it needs to be fixed and stopped with harshness involved because nobody deserves to be trolled this game takes up 10-15mins of your time per match

I agree 100%. Something else I feel should be done is better region separation. I go into matches where nobody communicates, and when they do, it's in a different language, and half the time, it's only insults. The player level is also different from region to region.

Here’s a crazy (based) idea I have and the inspiration came from an older state of CS. Because spam reports can be problematic, give the user a fair shake and allow them to appeal if they feel the reports are unfair, but when appeal is up for debate give the footage of the gameplay up to peer review from the community. Give the option to watch reported gameplay footage on the home page for people who want to play jury and affect the trolls performance. How do you incentivize people to play an impact positively and help the game devs scour through reported footage? Incentivize it with the games cash currency. Company doesn’t lose out, it doesn’t have to be a lot but it would help out less fortunate to be able to afford cosmetics or other useful purchasable, it comps their free time reviewing footage, and because it’s peer review it encourages fair unbiased results to keep the games integrity

Funny thing is you can get banned for a few minutes if you don't ready up (even for bots). The fact that people are more punished for not pressing a button than they are not playing a match is just... sad.

@@MusicComet Problem lies in the nature of PU being firstly a MOBILE game which has its deficit of... you know the "hit-n-run" playtactic like every other mobile game else. You just play it for a few mins usually, log off, come back later for a few mins, rinse & repeat. People might not even have all 10 minutes to use and can barely squeeze it in, so giving me a 2x 3 minute queue because some dipdong could not be bothered to press a singular button which they _were also waiting for_ is a fitting cause for game restriction / ban for repeat offenders Source: I play league I have queue dodgers all time wether it be in queue itself or even after that in champselect I already have waited queues *_DOUBLE_* the time of a normal game We have measurements in place that slaps you with a restriction if you fail to accept multiple pops; they even got massively harsher recently

@@TheDendran Queue dodging is understandable but punishment for it compared to not being banned for being AFK/trolling is what my main point was. How come those guys don't get banned while people who are having issues with the game causing them to not press a button are getting a harsher punishment altogether? Like the report system in general is just laughable. Get banned for any kind of VC or not pressing a button but all the griefers are in lala land.

@@MusicComet They don't get banned cause that would need actual human intereference to view replays to name one point which ties into workforce and labor that has to be paid. Another BIG one would be *_MONEY_* directly You cannot sell a 20$ skin to a banned player If you shovel a replay into an automated gear, the AI will only see "They move there" "They attack this" without any context. Humans will go: "Wait, wtf is this player doing by walking THERE?" "Why are they using terrain to block off own mates?" The only thing AI picks up if a user hasn't done any input within X amount of time and only THEN if you report them they get the -10 League had something years ago called the "Tribunal" where players could view chatlogs of games people got banned from and decide if it was a fair ban or not. Incentive was a small currency bonus on your account if you made the -right- community approved choice. That shid fell flat as soon as people started mass denying unbans in favor of rewards...

My point is why put more effort into one type of ban which is nigh worthless compared to the other actually useful one? Things being expensive I can live with because I can always not buy things, but the matchmaking experience being ignored and disregarded time and time again is what makes the game unfun and unplayable and makes me even more less likely to play or put money into the game. If the game is fun, matchmaking is good(because there’s no perfect), I don’t get sub 49% on my team who never got masters I’ll happily pay for a battle pass or an item or a Pokémon. The funner the experience the more I’m willing to put into the game be it time or money. Maybe they’re counting on whales to carry this game or streamers but if that’s the case we need another boycott or something. I’d love it if the devs did an interview because it feels like they don’t care about us as a player and if that’s the case the feeling is mutual.

Match making needs to be fixed, People are intentionally throwing to lower elo and create accounts to help other accounts get easier games. Punishments need to be more severe. You shouldn't be punished for being good.

Agree!!! The number of AFKers and flat out throwers is so much worse this season. Making a game end at 1 min because you didn’t get your mon has no punishment. They shouldn’t be able to immediately queue back up. People reported X number of times should get full week bans and increment up to perm ban. No way these people aren’t getting mass reported with no consequences.

I’ve been advocating for permanent bans for griefers for a while now and whole heartedly agree this would solve a lot of issues. I play primarily jungle characters and I get purposefully griefed so much it’s unreal. If somebody calls it first with a viable jungle pick I’ll respect it, but the amount of times I get griefed and then trolled is way too high. Get these people and the base spinners out of the game.

Yesterday I had a guy spam "Thanks" the ENTIRE game because he went Regieleki alone after 3 different players told him to go bot for the first objetive. Staying AFK at base and hitting the stick every 20 seconds to avoid automatic detection

I had a Hoopa join, stay in the spawn, and ping "Check it out" every 5 seconds, and then using their Unite move whenever it charged at the spawn. I have no idea why they put that much effort in.

I come across this stuff a lot. I do hope that if they do get more strict about this stuff that they don’t open it up to being a retaliation tool for people angry about losing a match. I’d hate to be reported as a griefer because someone didn’t like my pokemon choice or because I had a rough match and didn’t deal enough damage or score enough. I’ve had some very bad matches in recent seasons and sometimes on things people think are so broken they almost equate it to cheating and it can be embarrassing but I hope I wouldn’t get banned if I didn’t perform as well as someone thinks I should be.

SoloQ is terrible in Unite at least compared to HoK, Btw I played it till I got to grandmaster and pre selecting roles in Unite would be definitaly so good for everyone i think. Also matchmaking needs to be more elo or elo and skill based to match players better Imo. And the most Important thing for me: Timi should revert Sylveon's HV rework because It's secretly bad for everyone who knew how to play old HV and now it feels like just dmg. nerf. Sylveon is now more like support which Has to play with Curse Incense or fully stacked Sp.atk Specs to do anything and even then Sylveon is just now easier to eliminate during team fights. It's crazy how they could Change Shreding move into aoe that's too weak. Why Timi didn't Change how Play Rough Mimikyu works or Mean Look Umbreon instead they Nerfed balanced Pokemon which was just being used more recently by pros in turnaments after it was even rarely seen in any comp except Mystycal fire being used sometimes back then.

On top of flat out bans for afk/griefers I think Unite could have a player merit system where after a match teammates and opponents can rate the other players. Players with high ratings can be paired with other high merit players and lower rated players can be paired together more often.

Haven't played Unite in over 2 months and I couldn't be happier. The change to the monthly pass, expensive skins, poor balancing, and new Pokemon are paid only first is upsetting. But the constant griefing, teamates who would get upset 30 seconds into the match, the trolling, and the utter incompetence was the final straw. Reporting does nothing. Best way to fix matchmaking ... If i block a player, I should never play a match with them again. I enjoyed hitting Masters with my Cinderace during the Zacian and Mewtwo era. But it stopped being fun a long time ago. An example of a company listening is Clash of Clans. Recently they removed the skin from the mothly pass upsetting the entire community. Within a week, they apologized, added a skin to the pass, and communicated they were looking into new ways to gain skins. Pokemon Unite has no excuses.

as a csgo player i suffer a lot from the game trolls and hacks ...and the best solution was the paid servers...like if u have the battle pass u play in specific servers where rules are super strict and the games are being reviewed this can reduce the number of these stupid players a lot cuz they will not be paying money and troll knowing their accounts will get banned

You know what’s another thing that can change the game completely, idk if you ever played call of duty mobile but the ranking system is based on individual performance, for example if you play a great game but you end up losing due to terrible teammates, you still get points to improve further in ranked , I think this will greatly decrease a problem with dealing with terrible tm8s . I've met several trollers in the game and I also played with this kind of Crustle players several times. When you call them out your mic will be reported. So in the end the one getting sanctions are the innocent players. It's so frustrating. I hope Players who got very low damage or damage taken can be reported immediately.

I came to unite because a friend wanted a consistent teammate. I have played dota for years, and the first thing that stood out to me was that there was no low priority system. People who intentionally lose games need to be harshly punished. Whether that’s a timed ban from ranked matches or winning x games in low piro, I don’t care. It just needs to be harsh enough to actually deter this behavior. I don’t care the games only last 10 minutes, they have earned an actual punishment, not a -10 fair play points or whatever. So tired of teammates inting or afking. Not to mention this whole game boils down to one objective lmao just fight until ray then surrender my god

honestly there need to be a system where if people report someone for being a bad person, not bad at the game, they need to loose more and more fair play points for each offence, and if that does not work, then just instate bans from ranked and maybe online. I like what they did to HOK reporting. Hopefully, they can implement that to PU. In HOK, you can report feeders and trolls and they tell you the result of your reports after a few minutes.
