I just recently found you... I love your videos, are you on ClubHouse? what do you think about the DAWless approach, but with conventional gear, where is analog or Digital? I mean is do what do, but into way, I can't afford now the gear that you want, but I use different methods to create techno

Hoooooly shit the workflow. "play something first, worry about the sound later." One of my favorite things in this world is to see someone who REALLY knows their rig down to the individual TRS cabling take it through its paces, and whenever I do that what always sticks out is the sheer decision-making speed. It's like watching someone speedrun the DAW session you've been working on since 2017.

Music making should be fun! Thanks for watching Matt

I'd be interested in your velocity and swing settings, i'm assuming thats why you use the MPC instead of the octa as a sequencer?
@AnalogKitchen3 жыл бұрын
Honestly, I don’t use the groove settings but rather place notes strategically within a pattern. Besides that every brand has its Owen groove signature, also midi chains invoke some sort of ‘lag’. I prefer to look at the different boxes and how their sound behaves once they receive a trigger signal and determine how I will implement note placement and sequencing. Hope this is helpful
