Why are you laying the flag on the ground? Take two seconds make a holder out of pvc you could hang it from.

Respectfully, you are mistaken. On the floor, inside your house for maintenance is permitted. What is sinful is intentionally or disrespectfully causing the USA flag to be on the ground. Even an accidental dropping of the USA flag to the ground is ok. Just pick it up and get on with your day. It comes down to INTENT. When someone shows disrespect for the USA flag, it is obvious. Accidents are no reason to burn your flag or otherwise take it out of commission. GOD BLESS AMERICA!

The high wind polyester flags are the way to go for this application.

There is a better option on Amazon I’ve been having trouble with the tough Tex the flag I use is much thicker
