Im a 19 year medically retired veteran, with an equally traumatic mental and physical life before and after my service. Im talking unbelievable stories like witnessing my sister being kidnapped at age 6 to burying 7 people, 1 of which was my uncle/father figure, in a single year. I had a blast from an explosion and in 2008 on my third tour I was run over by my own gun truck HMMVV. I simply cannot even begin to describe everything but what I wouldn’t give to have a Dr like you help me. Daily chronic pain on top of being mentally defeated has me contemplating throwing in the towel every day. I just cannot fathom the rest of my life looking fine to the world, but dead inside. I’ll never be able to recover mentally if I cannot even function daily due to my chronic pain. Im strong, always been. Im still doing my best but due to my lack of ever failing at anything I fear that i’ll keep pushing until I simply cannot anymore.

I have both post surgery and injury that has kept me in different levels of chronic pain, 6 to 8 on pain chart. After so many medical consultations, remedies and pain killers never giving any lasting relief I began keto and fasting and now carnivore over the past year. I have lost over 100 pds and my pain has almost gone away completely, it’s truly a miracle and totally changed my life. I have been watching you Dr. Berg from day one and I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your words are gospel in our house. Love Karen too.

Some chronic pain can be because, although an injury might be healed, you STILL feel the pain, because the brain is so used to the neural pathway of pain firing, that the thalamus is permanently active, and the signals of pain can't be switched off. This can be overridden by activating the vagas nerve, and by meditation where you repeat certain mantras - the Placebo effect will eventually override the pain signals and turn on the parasympathetic nervous system. This has happened to me. It took 4 years.

I had to have surgery last year for infection on my right ankle (diabetic?) and it has been swollen and painful ever since. Nighttime is the worst, after being on it all through the day....I usually have to take 600mg of ibuprophen to even be able to lay still and go to sleep. After seeing this, I found the tender spots on my LEFT ankle, massaged it for a couple minutes two different times before bed. I am completely amazed! This morning the swelling is down and the range of motion is a bit better. Thank you, Dr. Berg, for putting info like this out for free.

After 1 year of using it at home on a daily basis, I was able to come off 18 of 20 medications & I was completely out of pain. Since it changed my life I decided to become an independent distributor for this device. I try to share it with everyone because I know what it’s like to be in severe chronic pain. Many surgeries and tumor that kept coming back destroyed my ankle and radiation therapy made my ankle stiff...pain became unbearable and doctors only could suggest amputation. When I hit rock bottom I started Keto and IF. Lost over 70lb in one year and now keeping my 130lb for over a year, pain is gone, I am walking and running, my diabetes is thing of the past, I feel better than ever! I am 56 and got injured at 17...so my whole adult life spent either on crutches or trying to recover from the surgeries.
