I just ordered my breather tube and clamps. Is there a front diff breather? Where did you run that tube?

Haven’t read anything about it being an issue. I’ve seen others do the rear. And thought why not. It’s cheap enough mod and doesn’t hurt anything by doing it. Plus with how easy the rear diff breather came off and how exposed it was if you didn’t want to run a new hose at least put a hose clamp around the stock one to secure it better.

Front diff hose is longer and runs up higher.

@@travisthompson2287 it is not actually, same exact length. I’m working on the front for my ZR2 now and it’s significantly more difficult than the rear, I also think the locking diff puts the vent nub at a bad angle compared to the standard front diff on the Colorado. I am not sure if anyone else has done this with the ZR2 yet but I’ve asked on the Colorado fans forum.

From what I’m hearing from everyone is that the valve is designed to not let water through. But it was a cheap enough mod that took no time. Think the biggest flaw is how easy the stock one pops off from the diff. So at the very least I’d use a hose clamp on the stock one.

@@Coyotezr2 it probably works for flinging water but we all know it won't hold up under water lol
