You're such a great leader, Susan - bold, courageous, smart, humble, kind, honest who leads by example - true general. That's so rare in this chaotic and corrupted world... Just took two pieces of pie after dinner, and bam... stumbled upon this old video. I was just too hungry, I should have sticked to dinner time - lesson learned. REEEEZOOOOM 😀💫🚀 And the thing you said...sugar and flour can't make our troubles go away, they just make more trouble - so powerful and true...God bless you ❤️

When I stumble off my plan I follow 4 steps that work for me.....FIRST: I Forgive Myself (because I realize I'm still in the process of breaking my food addiction).SECOND: I Don't Beat Myself Up About It (for that just leads to more overeating & bingeing, so I compliment everything I do).THIRD: I Think About 'Why' It Happened (what were my emotions? what was my stress?)FOURTH: I Wipe The Slate Clean (I get back to the successful & healthy eater that I am). AND I RE-ZOOM!....I like that. Great vlog Susan

I watched this at 3am this morning when I couldn't get back to sleep. It made me tear up a little at the end. I have a lot to thank you for but right now I want to thank you for your honesty and thank you for not being perfect. You are an inspiration for many reasons but most of all you are so real.

I found the same organization 1.5 years ago. Never looked back. So much clarity, so simple. Not easy but clear and simple. Thank you for great vlogs.

I ‘m alone more than I can imagine others being. You express and articulate feelings about this subject BLE sooo well. I have dived in and already couldn’t control my binge. I just love to eat and eat good food. Yet I wasn’t happy with myself when I did but was totally helpless to quit eating.

You're not alone, Deborah. It's a struggle for many of us. xoxo

This is my favorite video of yours so far Susan Pierce Thompson! I love that we are all welcome. I'm only on day 4 of the 14dc. I'm looking forward to bootcamp after! Love you!

“Shame and isolation” began in Genesis 3. It is an ongoing part of our human condition. God, however, redeems all of that and brings us into His glorious light when we admit where we are and what we have done (much like Adam and Eve did) and then God Himself covers us with grace and forgiveness. His mercies are new every morning. Every day is a day to start over and having faith that He will catch us if we fall again. How many times does a parent catch their falling child when they learn to walk? Every. Single. Time.

Thank you so much Susan, and I love you too. You just gave me the very best reason for not always having to be perfect. I am good enough even if I slip up now and again! Thank you for all helpful videos you make. Please go on!

I know this is an older video but I love ALL of your videos, Susan. Thanks so much. I'm wondering how you dealt with that issue in Australia? Did you establish BLE after the Australia weight gain? Thanks so much.
@Brightlineeating5 жыл бұрын
Susan did lose the weight after Australia and has kept it off since. 😉

Thanks for your quick response Susan- I still am wondering how anorexics are to feel safe in the BLE program with the word thin and weight loss used so much? Maybe it is not for them? Would you tell me how it could be? Once again, some anorexics have addictive food issues too. They just know how to control the outcome of their weight. Thanks for your thoughtful and smart answers!

Why happy, thin and free? Why not happy and free? Plenty of anorexics have trouble with food but are triggered by the weight loss focus in BLE.

Great question! This other VLOG addresses that. Check it out. brightlineeating.com/2016/08/thin-vs-fit-vs-healthy/

Paula C. She mentions quite frequently that thin refers to YOUR own right sized body...a body you feel comfortable in, a body free od extra weight that may be harmful to your health...it's just a term, related to achieve acceptance of your new self
