Stuart Pickering Well obviously they'll only approach each other if they want. If the desire is absent, it would be senseless to do the approaching. On a lighter note, I agree with roadrunnerblink; I think women should definitely be approaching men instead. Women are the only ones who ever feel threatened by men who approach them, so this puts the ball on their court. They won't have to feel threatened if they're the ones doing the approaching because they can choose whichever guy they want. Meaning, they can choose the guy they don't feel threatened by, instead of being approached by a man who threatens them, which causes them to run the other way. However, biology dictates that women are not turned on by a safe man. There has to be that spark, that adventurous feel to a man for them to be attracted; that explosiveness is what gets a girl going... which is ironic because such men can come off sometimes as intimidating or even threatening. On that note, what the heck do women really want in a man?

Of course nobody will approach anyone else if they don't want to but i am talking about when the desire or wish to approach is there but it is when the confidence, will power, guts etc is not there. Weak men need to grow some balls to approach because women clearly won't and shouldn't approach. She wants a man to approach her and test his confidence levels to approach. In the real world women have no desire to approach or be approached but if she has, she will decide on her response or interaction with the guy or be as difficult as possible and ignore and play hard to get etc. Women want men to be the "man", take the initiative, be confident, be assertive, be direct, approach first, accept rejection, pass all their shit tests, be a challenge. Before you approach, don't be seen to be hesitant or thinking whether to approach or not. Hesitation is creepy. Creepiness is negative, staring at the girl wondering when to approach or not is creepy, neediness and appearing desperate is negative. From all that women feel uneasy and unsafe and therefore lose any attraction. Make her feel safe and comfortable. Confidence is the secret ingredient to attraction but even then confidence alone is no guarantee.

Hayley, I don't know if you respond to comments, but this is my question for you: In one of your other videos, you and your girlfriends said that you didn't like it when random guys came up to you in clubs and bars because it made you think that they were only interested in your looks. But when a guy actually *tried* to get to know you a bit before asking you out - perhaps because he wasn't confident that you'd reciprocate and wanted to gauge your interest level, or because he was actually interested in your personality - you said that was "creepy" because he wasn't up front about his intentions from the start. How exactly can guys win in this situation? When I'm attracted to a girl, I'm not overly afraid of rejection, but I AM afraid of being told that I've overstepped some kind of unspoken boundary (e.g. asking out a co-worker) even though other people do it all the time.

Bullshit. Most guys are actually not creepy. The struggle is about the obligation/responsibilty. Approaching accepted as an obligation of men. Therefore men do the approach almost all the time with feeling it as an obligation and this causes stress. When men approaches a woman, opens him self to her, he instantly surrender all his power to her. From then, she has all the power. Daniel Marquis Ive already concluded this. I'm average looking (6ft but doesn't help either way) and not many women have ever been attractive let alone be down to fuck me, so I've been down in the dumps for a while. But then it dawned on me, my happiness doesn't depend on other people. It should come from me. Making myself happy with hobbies and a job I enjoy. Sure, I want to get laid. You can approach a woman and not be creepy If you find her interesting. Talk about normal things, dont mention your own love and sex life. Dont bring up ex-girlfriends. Dont ask her if she is dating anyone. Joke with her about the day but keep it tastful. Keep it brief unless she is the one who pulls you back to the conversation. Keep approaching but only when its appropriate. Work you way into her circle of friends. When she gets comfortable interacting with you on a daily basis, you can ask her out on a date but make it look platonic in nature so you dont look like you're trying to push her into anything. If she flakes then just move on to the next girl you like. When you get her alone in public on a first date, then use any number of game techniques to seduce her. Generally you will find out at this point if it will go any further so dont end up in the friend zone repeatedly buying her dinners and gifts etc. If nothing happens move on to the next girl you have interest in and just keep the last one as an arms length friend.

Well everything a guy does is creepy than, Cuz women label everything as creepy. Just because she emotionally felt uncomfortable for a small moment doesn't mean her life is in jeopardy. This is all just a tactic women use to back men off. Guys women will try and scare you so you won't approach them. Approaching women does not cause any harm. It's part of freedom of speech especially if you live here in the states. Today men don't approach either way because of that concept. I approached hundreds of girls already. I also learned from people whose done the same. Nothing has happened. Get that concept of sexual harrasment mindset out of the way. Some Women are just shy they can't handle the pressure and they walk away. Than when they get home it's up to them to label it how ever they want. It's their opinion. Their is no right or wrong way to approach girls. In the end I don't even remember any of the girls who rejected me because it's too much to handle or remember. The only ones I remember are the ones who I had great success. Failure equals success it's how you improve.

So what would you recommend for someone who is in a position like the one you described? like for a cashier at a store. I had a very attractive woman come into my store the other day and when I was checking her out (in more ways than one :P) we were both smiling and eye contact (not just the normal looking the person, smile and go about your business). Smiles are not good enough. When in a service type environment you have to 3:1 fold the situation. She would need to do something 3 times more drastic than a smile. I get fake smiles all the time behind the counter where I work. Trust me. A smile at work is like the middle finger being given to you. She pretty much has to open her mouth and ask what you are doing later or other conversation that is not service related. Women have to be direct and verbal when in a service environment. Non-verbal cues will get you fired.

This is just an uncomfortable topic. I am older now, but looking back, I never was able to read any girl's mind. I am by nature a quiet, thoughtful, introspective guy. But never found it a simple matter to go up to a female I did not already know, to use any sort of excuse to attempt any kind of conversation. It was always a huge and insurmountable dread of self-embarrassment, looking rather ridiculous, and in the end, plain old fashioned rejection. I suppose I tried it a few times, never with any positive result. What's weird is that I don't think I strike females as somehow unattractive; in fact, there were some isolated occasions, such as the time in a packed "singles" bar when two fun-filled females (clearly friends out for a good time) said to me "you're the best looking guy here". Sounds great, right? I even had a few times in such meeting places when an attractive girl apparently asked her male or female friend to come over and say "this is [name]. She wanted me to introduce her to you". (!!!) That was rare, but at least it gave me some idea that maybe women could be interested. The problem, over the years, was that every time (the few times I ventured to try it), that I tried approaching a girl, it invariably resulted in a fast dismissal, usually with the line "I have a boyfriend". I found this so impossible that I gave up ever trying that again. Instead, I found that I had to establish a better basis than simply "first sight"; I had to have some rationale to be in the presence and get to know a girl somewhat first. That is hard enough. Most females have no partiular interest in even having a conversation. Maybe I was just never skilled at chatting up girls. I guess I will never know. I never learned to be a mind reader.

The problem is there are plenty of situations when you can't be direct! Such as on a busy train or bus, at work It is still possible to get sex even if you're indirect in the beginning. You can still build intent during the conversation in a way that doesn't make the woman feel uncomfortable or put on the spot.Because something that Direct does is it puts a woman on the spot which isn't always the best way. Not saying you have to be indirect or direct but merely find what works best for you and the situation.

Ι approach about 15 girls a week with a non creepy direct way, saying them that i'm interested in getting to know her. Some girls especially the younger ones got scared. Also most of the times when a girl gave me her number the she disappeared. I don’t get creeped out when people talk to me because it’s rare someone will initiate with me. I always have to be the one to talk first. And when someone does initiate conversation with me, it’s always to just sell me something or ask me a quick question like directions. Very disappointing. People need to compliment strangers more. But all in all, there are guys who get creeped out too so it’s really up to the individual. I had this frat guy flip out on me pretty much right after I said hi and made a joke that I wasn’t going to talk about Jesus. No. If you're direct, you're likely to be treated as being too "aggressive". And everyone knows today, thanks to women's studies, that it's an awful thing to be aggressive. Having to walk on eggshells takes all the spontaneity out of trying to get a date.

This is a classic example of women giving men advice on picking up women. If you’ve heard it once I’ll say it again “if you’re getting your advice on women from women. You are doing your research at the wrong library”. Unless they are lesbians they have NO IDEA or experience picking up women! Going straight in and explaining your intent is almost always seen as “desperate” by women. Showing sexual interest but keeping it vague enough to build attraction and curiosity is far more effective. You simply can’t do that if you’re putting your cards on the table in the first minute of an encounter. This is classic bad advice. She might as well be telling you to “be yourself”.

When I was handsome, in my 20's, 30's, 40's, women in their 20's & 30's were very receptive to me, when I approached them. Now I'm 54 and bald, and I'm "The Old Creepy Guy."
