One major difference I notice between men and women is that men don't feel threatened by women to the point of claiming they are useless and obsolete. Sure we hear men lament the headaches women can be, both groups do that. But men don't blame women for society, don't have ad campaigns telling society what women need to do or stop doing, they don't have tv shows portraying women as inept creatures, etc. Men will say women are not worth the headaches they cause, but they don't imply the world would be better without them. Men are regularly accused of being threatened by strong women, but if you pay attention to social cues, it's really women who feel the need to strike out at men on a broader scale. Men compete with other men, women compete with other women and men as well, that suggests to me that men, on average, are not at all threatened by women.

Yeah they need men to mow the lawn change the light bulb to turn the heavy mattress over every couple of months. Also to take out the garbage to wash and vacuum the car put water in the windscreen washer bottle and keep the tyres pumped up. Also you will get him to move the furniture in the house and put together new flat pack furniture. And they need them to set up the new Blu ray player and fix the leaking tap, and to paint the house or any other diy job like changing the fire alarm battery or hang a picture. And when the council chuck out is on you will need him to carry all the heavy garbage out to the street. And when your you get a new mobile or a new computer or a new modem he will probably be the one to set it all up. When the power goes out or the gas hotwater goes cold you will get him to check it out and flip the fuse box switch and restart the gas heater. And when the toilet or sink gets blocked he will use a plunger to unblock it. Women you go on about doing more work around the house but men do alot too. And besides all that he goes to work and helps to pay for the bills and support you and the kids.

I think a better question to start with is, do people need other people, well historically humans always do better in groups, and so the better they can manage that, the better and so the better they can manage themselves independently as well, the less they require outside help. Men have lived without women before and women lived without men, but honestly people are happier when they are paired with someone they click with and when its long term there are studies that show that the results are happier healthier lives. I believe the move loving they are the better it is even further.
