I disagree with it‘s righteousness in the 40‘s. Men fought and died, women survived, therefore had no say over political decisions, directly affected male lives. Nothing was equal about it, still everyone agreed with it. Feminism (as the meaning equal rights and opportunity’s) causes fairness when the strengths of both genders don’t have to be played out in order to survive. The more peace the more feminist society can become, just never at 100%.

In Iran there women started a revolution on the right of equal trestment. Now that is feminism. The complaining about every tiny difference between man and women on the other hand is not feminism to me, because man could start to complain that education is not giving them as good rates as for women, they are not respecting the more active boys, men could enforce quotes for university (more women is getting diploma AFAIK), women should participate in war, at the same level, etc... But I do not believe in these. I think we humans have to accept that we are not totally the same, and equality does not mean we have to measure in each and every way ours to others just because we can. Also feminism is much more the topic of the urban intellects, and in countryside people have different problems, and I am not sure there freedomfighters are totally aware of that.

( feminism is not about men but i do believe that a well rounded activist should view both sides equally worthy of their time ) The issue with modern feminism is not the feminism itself but the absolute lack of critical thinking and the zest pool of social media that targets young people desperate to find a place and community ( this is a constant in most issues since young people have a deep desire to find something to care about, and oftentimes they go up and beyond in order to stand out) .

A black man faces the same racism issues that the black woman faces, but he doesn't experience the same female-related issues that she does. I think we saw the problems with modern "feminism" in this panel. If you're a white, able bodied, average looking woman youre opinion is less of that than someone of colour, etc. As you saw Pearl just got shouted down and laughed at for making extremely valid points. NO ONE could answer a simple "what barriers" question and only mentioned it again when Pearl herself brought up some comparisons she used for her own points. Someone who is more level headed and open to hear other views always shines through.
