Incredible conversation 👌🏽 I often say, that: Love, in its very nature, is elevating. Think about the work of the cross, how when we were dead in our sins, Christ (out of love) took our place, to restore us back to the image of God. Love can’t help but elevate! And maybe that should be the litmus test on how to know that you truly love someone - if your proclivity is to get them to the best version of themselves.

Brilliant conversation. I won't lie since I started watching the Makhs installment I am somewhat more gentle, caring with my husband and since I changed my husband actually treats me like a queen 👑. He elevates me at all times and it something I'm still not use to but I'm sure I will grow into it. Love you guys. Keep up the good work Mr & Mrs Makhs

I think I know the video you are talking about Mr Makhs, from the guy with "the school of life"...i actually avoided it for a very long time because the title scared me, but one day I gathered the conviction and it talks about how as people we are imperfect and how we are always looking for perfection in our relationships and our partners and when they don't deliver perfection then we go on to think "well it's this person, maybe they aren't right for me"

Guys please consider hosting a marriage seminar, or couples seminar , a luncheon, a gala dinner or something! I would love definitely love to attend something like that. I think it would encourage my husband to open up more... Teach him that it's okay for a man to be vulnerable. My husband really likes to suppress his feelings and suffer in silence till he has found a solution as a man. Maybe you can do a video on why men do this and how couples can handle this.

I like the point Phetola made that marriage was designed to make us better people... Lots of points to support that statement in the Bible... E.g: Eccl 4:9,10: "Two are better than one... For if one of them falls, the other can help his partner up. But what will happen to the one who falls with no one to help him up?"
