I heard due to the translation from Hebrew text to English, much grammar was missed. But I heard that when Jesus speaks to the thief he says “ Today, I tell you, you will be with me in paradise “. Instead of “ Today you will be with me in paradise “. Either way at the end of the day, we better follow the Lord before we die 😳😳

It’s a beautiful experience that you can’t explain and you see only white and then a stronger white light comes forth to you and you go to wards it and it’s a very peaceful unexplainable feeling of bliss and you know no time as it feels longer then time in life and then you come back because your saved and you feel how heavy the body feels and how much feelings come with itself life. Hey Dan! The Christian view of an intermediate state and a Catholic view of purgatory are very different beliefs and are held for different reasons. Purgatory is where one goes to be cleansed of mortal sins before entering heaven. The intermediate state has nothing to do with being cleansed of sins. It is simply a waiting place for the soul before final judgment. The only similarity is that it's a place where some people go before their eternal resting place, but the purpose of it and reasons for holding it are completely different. Hope that makes sense!

Why do you call the view that our soul goes to intermediate heaven or hell a pagan view? I showed the biblical justification for that view. Where does John 6:40 or 6:44 say that our souls are sleeping until the last day? It simply says they will be raised up on the last day. Raised up from where? It could be from sleep, but it also could be from the intermediate state. This passage doesn't say. An interpretation that many Christians take is that this means raising up for final judgment (last day) and receiving the fullness of eternal life. This doesn't exclude an intermediate state.

Not in the sense that everyone goes to heaven. If you're referring to Ecclesiastes 12:7, I think that is a reference to death. Genesis says that God formed man out of the dust of the ground and breathed life into him. This passage is the reverse. Paul never said "to be absent from the body is to be present with the lord". Thats a common misunderstanding or outright lie. And even if he did say it that way, do you have to be dead to be absent from the body? No, you can die to self and still be literally alive. And when you read the 1st time paul says" absent from the body" its clear he was talking about being absent from the body of believers: he was still alive but absent from the body. For I verily, as absent in body, but present in spirit, have judged already, as though I were present, concerning him that hath so done this deed, KJV - 1Corinthians 5:3

No, Christianity doesn't teach salvation by works. We will be judged according to our response to Jesus Christ. Those who have given their life to Jesus will have their names written in the book of life. Those who did not trust in Jesus will be judged according to the things they have done. (Rev. 20:11-15)

If you are not catholic raised, many people these days. They all will end in hell? I believe there is more than this life. It's all energy and vibrations. Higher consciousness is a far higher vibrating energy normal people can't direct see. These days a lot of people don't believe anymore or don't start. Do those people 'non believers' end up in hell as you tell in your video? On the quantum energy part. Everything is energy. We are made out of stars. New Stars arise from dead. We people can see just a little part because the more high vibrating energy we can't see. But all around us is very high vibrating energy and your soul must be part of the bigger part. The place where there is all knowledge/the higher spirit. This is how I think I see it in a short story because it is complex. But why hell after life if you're not catholic/strait believing in that only way that is presented?

Your view of energy and the soul assumes that the soul is physical which isn't true. The soul is a non-physical substance and therefore can't be energy since energy is physical. Why hell? Everyone is going to live forever. There are two options, with God or without him. Hell is separation from God for those who don't want him.

But your soul is on another very high level a very high vibrating energy. What most of people can't see. Mediums can see/feel more. I think that this verse in isolation suggests soul sleep. However, considering the passages that teach the soul goes to be with the Lord at the point of death (Rev. 6:9, 2 Cor. 5:8, Luke 23:43), I don't think that is the consistent view with all of Scripture. Therefore, I think that 1 Thessalonians is only referring to the body. Our dead bodies will be raised and will be united again with our souls.

​@@erikarobinson3557 I think that 1 Corinthians 15:42-49 teaches that we will have physical bodies in heaven rather than only being raised in spirit. Verse 42 says "What is sown is perishable; what is raised is imperishable." Verse 44 talks about a spiritual body. "If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual body." So, I don't think we will only be spirits, but will have spiritual bodies. What will this body be like? Thomas physically touched the resurrected body of Christ in John 20:27. Jesus ate fish in his resurrected body in John 21:13. Romans 6:4 says "just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may walk in newness of life." So, if we will be raised from the dead just like Christ was raised from the dead, then we will have a physical body like Christ did. Finally, Job 19:26 says, "And after my skin has been thus destroyed, yet in my flesh I shall see God." What does it mean for him to see God in his flesh if his flesh is not resurrected? It is for these reasons that I think we will have a physical resurrected body. What do you think?
