Yup, this happened to me. She never had time to hang out or would get back to me so we could meet up but was always the one suggesting a day or reaching out. Facebook showed she had plenty of time to hang out with other friends. It was really sad but eventually I stopped initiating conversations and she never reached out after that. Not gonna lie, it hurt. I do regret not asking her what had changed since we were good friends in college, but I didn't and at this point too much time has passed.

Eve Green more like i only want to invest time in people when it doesn’t feel like a chore. i’m not generally flaky, but sometimes you outgrow people - nothing against them, you just don’t click anymore. but then it feels wrong to tell someone that when you have history and they didn’t do anything wrong. so in some way it feels easier to let them blame you for being flaky or unresponsive until eventually they give up, instead of blindsiding them with a conversation they might leave thinking there’s something wrong with them - because there isn’t. TLDR: break-ups have always been something i’ve wanted to put off as long as possible and i guess i’m just now realizing that’s something i need to work on in friendships too
