Lyrically, this song was written about the Columbine shooting in the US in '99, and the lyrics reference 15 candles which represent the 15 who were killed in that massacre, and is a dialogue between the victims and the killer in the song (the kinslayer) - there is also a dedication to the victims in the sleeve-notes of the Wishmaster album beside the lyrics

This song has such a deep meaning and dark lyrics. Once again the whole band is spectacular. The end line hits me every time: "How were we suppose to know?" Also I love Emppu's "solo" in the middle and also Tarja's bower walk (as Kara once put it😁) that she does after it. Aaand Tarja's stage performance 👌
