Hey. 124 Spider here. Honestly, if all children in their first school years had heard this song and read the lyrics, I'm sure that today... all of humanity would be much more cohesive and kind to each other. I had never thought about how I got here, today, alive. If anyone still had doubts that Nightwish ARE THE BEST BAND IN THE WORLD, right no?. So I just have to say that humanity is no longer thinking for itself. It's the "NEW" AI that everyone talks about, but they don't even pay attention to what it means. NIGHTWIH FOREVER SINCE EVER.

What a testament, what a tribute to life and evolution! Here's a thought: my little dog, our cherished Yorkie, lies next to me, on his back, eager for a belly rub. We've had him since he was 10 weeks old, treating him like royalty ever since. He occasionally meets other 'royalty' who have also been raised with great care. This little fellow here, when he receives a treat, sometimes waits until he thinks I'm not watching, then goes to a spot, places the treat on the ground, and pretends to bury it. He moves his head as if he's covering the treat with sand! He's never needed to do this, and it's unlikely he's seen another dog do it. So, there must be something, a tiny fragment of instinct, that has persisted within him over an immense span of time. A time when he had to secure his food and save some for harder times. And that, believe me, must have been a very long time ago! Could it be a legacy from the time his ancestors were wolves? And why couldn't there be a trace of our ancestors lingering within us? For instance, why do I adore medieval markets so much? Why do I fear certain situations despite never having been harmed in them? There are endless questions for a curious ghost, and how can one not revel in being alive after pondering such mysteries?

This is what unconstrained genius looks and sounds like. Tuomas is a visionary and he does exactly what he pleases and goes wherever his muse takes him. It's on us to keep up and follow along. That he leaves many behind is no surprise. This... this composition is fucking epic. And it's as deep as the Marianas Trench. This world, this existence is awesome if you take the time to grasp for understanding. The glittering beauty of mathematics, music as the voice of God, the natural world with its "endless forms most beautiful". It's all there for the beholding. But you have to reach out grasp it, you must have a savage thirst for comprehension as the price of admission.

Another Massive Song that makes you think... good, there are sadly less and less people who can think and wonder about life and all its grand workings on this day and age... Only nitpick from me in this song is the sound mix, especially Floor's vocals (barely noticeable at times). Overall, Astonishing Music video and great reaction to it. I'm worried about Emppu's ability to play guitar without a head.
the more I listen to this song, the more I tear up. The chorus hits hard, especially at the end where the instruments drop out and its Troy singing them (the one criticism I could have of the song is that Floors vocals are a bit too low in the mix... but that somehow also feels like a nitpick because that choice allows the instruments to really explode the song out into something HUGE). if this is indicative of the full album, which I hope, its gonna be an emotional ride. I look forward to it, because that would honestly feel like a very natural continuation of Human :||: Nature

Great reaction and insight of the song and images. Intense build up, the intro is a masterclass of how you get hooked people with just instrumental. Song is great but I think there´s probably fans whom need more listening to dig into. The visuals are stunning. I think we´re gonna see the promised "heavier than last albums" in shorter songs. Listening to this song feels a bit remarkable moment because this and the rest of this album is gonna be the last we´re gonna hear on Nightwish in a long time, probably.

Why would it be the last? This album is just the last part of the trilogy that comprises of endless forms most beautiful, human nature and yesterwynde. They have also just renewed their contract with nuclear blast for a multi album deal. They are just having a haitus from live shows for a couple of years, and instead we are being treated to epic story videos like this one. Masterpiece x

For the confused folks. I suggest you listen to Darkwoods My Betrothed and Auri. Tuomas is combing the heaviness of Darkwoods My Betrothed and combining it with the folk vocals and vibe of Auri. As soon as I watched the video I was like ok Maestro I get it.

Yup the "metal Mozart" does it again. Drowning one of the greatest vocalists alive in the mix while highlighting Troy (wt..), a decent backing vocalist at best. This limited chest of endless forms/hvman natvre tales might be served with the addition of some ancient Greek mythology, i.e. the tale of Procrustes. The gist of that story rhymes with what Tuomas has been doing to Floor in the studio for some time now: cutting a vocal giant to size in order to fit his conception of a "band" (i.e. solo project with the NW label still attached).

There are always certain songs people like better than others. You don't have to love every one. I am positive Tuomas will provide at least 1 you like. When I think to growing up there were countless artists I only liked 1 or 2 songs from their whole discography. 😊

Every reaction video I see it's clear that the good video is masking the weak song. A lot has been said about it, but the vocal mix is really terrible. "That's the way it should be," say a number of people, well if that's the way it should be you are no good as a producer. This way you seriously disappoint a strong vocalist like Floor Jansen. Then the song itself, Nightwish ripples on on the old, existing same thing as if there is no more inspiration. This song is a kind of compilation with all kinds of things that have already been done.
@Blackwolf.7773 ай бұрын

I don’t agree. Maybe it’s because I listen to different elements but I loved it. Sure… it isn’t the best work they have released but I did enjoy it. Don’t assume we should all hate it simply because a lot of long time fans do. We all enjoy different things and that is ok. Maybe it’s because I was very distracted by the video?

Kai actually commented on someones complaint about Floor's voice being down in the mix in the chorus. He said that Floor is a part of the choir and she's not meant to be on the top there. And that some people may not like it but it is what it is.

Greetings. I'm sure Tuomas has had his sit-down with Richard Dawkins since he IS a big fan of his work AND don't forget he invited him to lay a few lines on Shudder Before The Beautiful, and The Greatest Show On Earth, AND Dawkins also made an appearence at the end of the Wembley show. Darwin, however, is a different story. 😂

Did you hear the 4 notes (B minor-G minor, A minor-F minor) by the choir that are a RED thread threw the whole song, also in Floor's lines, strings and piano? 2:36 This is SO well composed and thought about. The owl's head spinning ANTI clockwise, going back in time. There are hundreds of symbols in this clip. The thousands of butterflies (Darwin again), the beautiful lizard who dives in the water is also coming back several times, per example when Floor dives from the tree It's so tiny that you hardly notice it. The humpback wale skeleton with the free diver and than the live humpback wales and sperm wales. It all refers to our ancestors and evolution. We all came from the ocean and the free diver is bringing us back to take a peak in evolution , making the ocean his habitat again, I can't wait to hear this song live. Wouldn't it be great to see them live for one time with the London Philharmonic Orchestra instead of a recording of the orchestra? Who knows....1 day Thanks, great reaction

I love your reference of the ancient Greek. I noticed on the upcoming Yesterwynde album is a song called Antikythera Mechanism, an object found in a shipwreck that seems to be from Archimedes times and resembling an intricate clockwork..... Very interesting.
