I've learned that this topic you're trying to describe is called discernment. My discernment that I was gaining as a kid was gaslighted out of me. Now I find that I need to gain the skill again. Then it just gets me where I need to trust myself again. I've been consciously dealing with getting away from toxic people for almost a decade. All I can say is that I'm thankful to have chances in learning this skill, because I know many people that live and die in it without any understanding in how their whole lives were manipulated by some narcissistic and other types of toxic people.

Very important in terms of vulnerabilities. Another group are religious Gurus. I personally had a horrible experience of therapy abuse- mind abuse, from a fully qualified and accredited female therapist. She set me back years. When I eventually realised what happened, I checked the accreditation body- she is no longer practicing, possibly retired. If still working I would have complained, ethically I would feel this was necessary, but I reckon it were wouldn’t have made a huge difference.

OMG it’s true! You make me remember and instant in which this Narc face was very angry and his voice was very sweet! I forgot about it until you mentioned it. Yes I remember it was very odd and scary!

Thank you for making this observation because I am rather turned off hearing anti-NPD "coaches" beg for cash or to solicit a sign up for some "teacher to pupil" course

Young people use to get advice from that "uncle" the rest of the family steered clear of because he figured life out. But todays young people despise their elders and will hit every landmine in life.

I am sick of Life Coaches...you know who is a good LC? Homeless people who are still alive.

What you think about Sadia Khan ? A relationship expert. She has a degree and I must say for a relationship, no life coach but another coach, she is authentic. I know and understand what U mean. But watch her.... But she charges 399 😂
