Welcome back to another video!
In this video im going a little more in-depth on the "whys" and "hows" about Adjustable Control arms.
Check out Core4x4.com and they are even giving 5% off using the code JKGG.
Installing a set of adjustable control arms is a fairly simple project, and we gain alot from them.
After installing the 1.5" teraflex leveling kit on my 2020 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon, i wanted to add a set of front control arms to help add a little caster, as well as add some stronger components for offroading. I chose the Core4x4 arms for a few reasons, they are affordable, they are available in various powercoated colors, and they use Johnny Joints. Im a fan of Johnny joints on a Jeep like this because they are very versatile, great for offroad use (flex and misalignment) while still being quiet and soft on the street. Johnny joints are also very easy to rebuild if you ever need to replace them.
Like ive mentioned in various videos, we have offroad tested the Jeep Gladiator stock, as well as with 35s. Now that we have added a front bumper, winch, and control arms, its time to test it out offroading with 37s!!
So, in short. If you have a lifted Jeep (TJ,XJ,JK,JL,JT, or any Jeep with control arms) then i highly suggest a set of adjustable control arms. Even if your jeep is stock, this will be a great upgrade from factory components.
Dont forget to have a XL Crescent Wrench to tighten the jam nuts: amzn.to/2XO2R2y
Or a set of Crows foot wrenches: amzn.to/33nYcFM
Magnetic Angle finder for caster/pinion angle: amzn.to/2QW8fPM

I’m running a set of 8 teraflex adjustable arms with monster Jonny joints and 4 inch springs . Before the addition of the adjustable arms it rose terribly, after the arms much better along with teraflex track bars .

16-K mile JKU:4.5" AEV lift, 37's, stock axles, Tera Flex HD ball joints. Should I go for all lowers, or all 8 control arm to replace stock items? I've wheeled 4 times, moving up to blue, blue/black trails next month.

Love my core4x4 short arms for my ZJ lift. I went with their tier 1 because I wanted rubber bushings as it was my daily driver. It was really nice to dial in the pinon angle. Shout out to them, my track bar came with a larger johny joint than what would fit the bracket. I called them up, they asked for a pic, and had a replacement to me in two days. Excellent product, excellent customer service, and their prices are very fair in my opinion. Edit, I'm running a 4.5 inch lift.

Thank You for all this info and education! I was looking at Core4x4 arms because I drive a lowly WK Hemi, and with only a 2” spacer lift and larger than stock tires, my rear tires rub on the front edge of the rear wheel well. My suspension place suggested moving the rear axle back a bit, but didn’t know a company that made adjustable arms for the WK. Now I do, plus I have your video! Thanks for the soon to be used discount! This is my daily driver, but I have it off road a few times a year.

Wow! GREAT job of explaining this in a "layman's" type of way. A lot of people think this is a complicated mod, it really isn't. I have a 2018 Rubicon JL unlimited that I bought with a skyjacker 3.5 to 4.0 inch lift kit. I wasn't happy with the "drop" brackets they used in the kit. It eliminated the ground clearance that I gained with the new springs to a certain degree... I bought a complete set of Synergy adjustable control arms, got the spec control arm measurement per lift online, installed those babies and my JL is a beast off road! Nice video man! Love the Synergy control arms too with their Dual Durometer bushings!

Ben I feel like you undersold these arms a little bit. Calling them "budget friendly" arms leaves a Rough Country taste in my mouth lol Core 4x4 are the real deal. Guys, if you just want a lift and big tires for the "look" the Tier 2 are your budget friendly option. If you want the real deal, beefy, beat on them, forged Johnny joints step up to the Tier 3 or Tier 4, they are great arms at a good price! Made in the USA and they all have an unbeatable "you break them, we replace them" lifetime warranty. Plus free shipping in the USA plus 5% off? You can't go wrong. I have no affiliation with Core 4x4, I've just owned them for four years and they've held up great.

I just got a 2020 Jeep 2 door sport, yeah the cheapest one I could get. But I did add the 2” Mopar lift with 35” KM3’s. I really like the height but I do think I need a better track bar and maybe some upgraded control arms like the ones you just installed because I feel like there is a lot of play in the steering going around curves making it a little white knuckle while driving. And I’d like to add some JKS quick disconnects for it as well. But you make all the mods look so easy to install I’m jealous of your skills man.
