John Byrd call up 7slotcustoms and talk to Connor! Tell him I sent you and he will can help you out with everything in this kit. I want to say it’s the 10* because the 9 and 10 have different mounting widths. You can also choose to run standard heims all around and it will still be fone

JK Gears & Gadgets, One of the most informative video channels on the web. I have learned so much from the videos about suspension, roll cage building, exhaust mods, shock installations. Ben does a fine job with the explanations of what is being done for what reasons. This comment is coming from a truck guy who is slowly getting the bug for buying a Jeep. Keep it up Ben, good luck a King of the Hammers

Well done Ben, that is a sh*t ton of fabrication!! Now we just sit back and wait for the KZbin haters to critique your welds, brand choice, amount of discount they are offering, the wheels on your kids barbie jeep...whatever they can pull apart.

To anyone watching this, never weld a bracket up with the joint in it. The heat transfers fast enough to melt the races inside the joint. Instead, use a piece of all-thread with nuts inside and out to hold the tolerance while you weld.

I've owned my JK since 2007. After watching your video, man I have some serious suspension upgrade required asap. I'm lucky I have broken anything on the trails. I bought a 4" lift shock and spring lift in 07" and haven't touched anything else since. BRB I need to slap myself.

Great video! Personally I would remove the light bar because it looks kind of out of place on your bad ass Jeep. If you still want that extra light out on the trails I would recommend the KC Pro 6. I think that option would look great on your Jeep and give you the light you want and go along with your jeeps aggressive stance. Again great video and keep up the awesome work!

My 2 door Jk was recently hit and it messed up the front axle, a control arm, and the control arm bracket on the frame. Instead of replacing the factory suspension stuff, we decided to go with a front 3 link and the shop recommended this kit. I'm not sure about doing the rear half eventually ...I've read that this rear design causes the front to raise up under acceleration. I have a supercharger and definitely don't want anything with unpredictable handling.

@JKGearandGadgets4 жыл бұрын
They don’t have a “kit” for the TJ, but they do sell standard 3 link kits on Barnes. The front would have welded brackets on the frame for uppers and lowers. For the rear, the TJ is very easy to do a 4 link with the uppers triangulated. Cassie and I will doing this on the Lj in a few months, so if your interested then you can hold off for that install

As a professional welder I'd like to point out you were wrong when you said not to weld bungs in with a stick set up. Mig is nice, but its better for lost of ok welding, Tig is a much better option. If you can't tig though Stick is a much better option. IMO.. As someone who has just broken 200 miles of weld on a oil line. But I do guess if its a novice doing it Mig would be a bit better... the cleaner, and more accurate the weld, the more strength it has.

The lowers are 2” .250 wall DOM. The uppers are 1.75” 120. The uppers are fine to run thinner wall since the tubing is still strong and won’t see any impacts. The lowers need to be quarter wall for sure
